As you already have seen, our families love parties. Even when it came to the mayoun we had two separate ones. One took place at Raheems house and the other at my house! This video has clips from the mayoun that took place at Raheems house and then I'll upload the one from mine next. I'll see you guys soon!

With being busy with finishing university and life I missed out on youtube most of this whole year and for the past 2 days i've been going over all your wedding related videos, literally was waiting for ages to finally get time to watch because ever since it was announced last year or whenever I've been eagerly awaiting and now i'm so happy i can easily just chill here and watch everything without having to wait haha :) congratulations hope you both have a beautiful marriage mash'allah :)

Usually you know how the brides side would do their mayoun/mehndi at their house or hall and then grooms side do it at their place, but now it is pretty popular for bride and groom to do a shared mehndi but i think the reason there's two if you can see it's happening at each others home so it's not big enough to fit people from each side so here only the groom's family is here and then a few intermediate family members from bride's side and then in Saba's mehndi her family will mainly be there and a few intermediate members from groom side.

it's oil. It's tradition in pakistan/india for bride and groom in mehndi family/friends put a bit of oil in there hair, apply a bit mehndi on the highest currency note which would be placed on your hand and would go to someone poor along with extra money to give to poor and then feed the bride/groom something sweet traditionally it's pakistani/indian sweets but you can also have dates or fruit. But sometimes now a days not all brides do the oil thing.

The only celebration is Walima which takes place after Nikkah.Haldi Mehndi is UnIslamic celebrations. U shouldn't be doing this. U should celebrate Walima only.Its unhealthy n too expensive so many people r dying of poverty n u have too much money. if u have so much money give it to the poor. Our Prophet PBUH said that the blessed weddings are those which have the least expenses. Keep that in mind. It's wrong to do unislamic ceremonies. Celebrate Walima only notin else plz otherwise ur wedding won't be blessed.
