Hellloooo! My name is Clancy and I'm originally from Long Island, NY, whch is about 40 minutes from NYC. In 2017, I moved to Ohio to become a TV news reporter, but after waking up at 2 a.m. for 5 years, I decided to leave that job and pursue KZfaq full-time.
I recently bought a house in Cincinnati and love making all kinds of videos, focusing on everything from money and finances (saving, budgeting, and being financally independent in your 20's) to health, fitness, and nutrition, to beauty and fashion. I'm getting married next summer so I also love providing wedding updates and showing you exactly how I'm planning my own wedding.

You should go to your local shelter and see if you can foster some dogs! Shelters really need fosters because it helps him get dogs out of the shelter for a little bit while they can bring new dogs in then. By fostering, you’re still helping dogs/saving lives, you’re getting your dog fix, but you’re not committing long term.

A dog is a great way to dip your toes into parenthood. Its obviously not the same as a human but it teaches you true responsibility of taking care of something else other than you. Im so glad we got dogs before kids, because it changed our lives for the better. And for Zac with his chronic pain, that dog will probably be attached to him and provide him comfort.

I LOVE when your sweet mom is in the vlog! In case anyone is interested, Clancy’s grandpa is Gil Clancy world famous hall of fame boxing trainer & commentator. The fight they’re talking about was Emile Griffith vs. Benny Paret. Benny died a few days later from pneumonia & injuries from the fight.

Once you get a dog…it changes your whole world. The nay sayers become the ones most obsessed. We rescued both our dogs and there are so many innocent lives that need saving. It’s one of the most rewarding things you’ll do

Pets bring so much joy and fulfillment in our lives! 🥰 I definitely agree it is important to be prepared for such a big responsibility first. When we got our 4 month old pup (7 yrs ago now), she took a lot of consistency on our part to train (she is also a quick learner though). But she turned into the most well-behaved dog I have ever seen out of all our family and friend's dogs and I couldnt be more proud. 🥹

Happy Saturday!! Glad to see your mom on the vlog!! The brown lines in the toilet come from the minerals in the Cincy/N. Ky. water. If you install a water softener all the stains will go away. The pink couch has your name on it. Perfect for the Clancy room. I was also a Jets fan growing up in the East but once I moved to Cincy I turned into a Bengals fan. I had season tickets for so many years and I really enjoyed going to games. Watching the Bengals here in Austin is costly (okay not as costly as the season tickets) I had to buy the NFL season pass to see every game.

I am so shocked you don’t want to be alone since you lived alone. Maybe because your house is bigger than apartment. Oh I hope Zac gives in about a dog. I can’t imagine not having one and I love that if/when you do get one, you will get a rescue! All of mine are rescues and all great dogs. Many people want little dogs but bigger are easier. They can go longer without bathroom and are generally easier with strangers as far as they tend to like to everyone! Love the pink couch! Perfect for your room. Always good to see your mom!

Before you think about getting a dog, borrow one of Neil's...they are trained and you can get a bit of experience as to how much time they actually take. We've always had a dog forever but the shedding will drive you nuts.

Hi Clancy! Great vlog- looks like you had a nice visit with your Mom. Liked her 2 birth stories. Congrats on the pink couch for the Clancy room- it is perfect for you! Also, you looked really good in the blue and white flannel. I think that darker blue suits you. Also, the style of the khaki green tshirt dress was flattering as well. I love the couch! I feel like it might need a large painting but a wider paining above it, but looking forward to seeing how it works with the one you have! As for the delivery guy - I think this is important feedback to give the company you purchased from. It might reflect bad on them and the likely want to fix the issue if there is one.

Hi Clancy Yes you need to flush toilets and run the sinks in all the bathrooms once a week or so. I was told this by a plumber, we have a spare bath upstairs that never gets used and he said try to run the water and flush the toilet once a week or more. Also chicken soup is so easy to make so try making a batch then you can freeze it and always have homemade soup ready😊

My family dynamic is so similar to yours! We do not hug either🤣! I moved far away after college last year (you inspired me to spread my wings) My mom has lupus, I don’t cuss much at all and my older brother cusses just like Neil! Also, your mom is the sweetest! Zac did a great job in narration with your advice! But I swear, everyone's birth story is different! You need to prepare for the unexpected and hopefully it will go smoothly. Mine was bananas but alls well that ends well. Owning a dog is not the same as fostering, maybe Zac would be interested in a month foster? It is a big commitment so I get it, if he's not ready for it better not, but if he's willing to do a month foster you never know! Perfect couch for the Clancy room! And it's great to see mom and Neil!

Ok I’m really behind because I’ve been traveling, but about the marching PJs. After I had a baby, I threw out all my ugly pajamas and bought a bunch of cute matching sets. I called them my hot girl PJs and it really made my mental health better since I spent so much time in PJs in those early months.

Tricks for making your home look clean when it’s not 1. close the curtains, darker is better 2. Keep your surfaces free of clutter 3. Make sure it smells nice…de breeze fabrics or have a candle burning safely 4. No dishes in the sink!! I live an apt and part of my lease is inspections periodically. This stuff works for me! Also always keep your bathroom clean! No matter what, if you don’t do anything else!!

You should consider a Roomba for your main living area. I have 2 dogs so I love them for maintenance between vacuuming, plus getting under the furniture regularly.

If you can’t have a dog at home you should consider volunteering some time to walking dogs at a local shelter.

I’m similar in my chronic pain. I am on a very strong narcotic but I can be in horrible pain and I’m smiling if I’m not home no one ever knows I’m in pain except my mom and healthy twin sister
