Vlog: My Clinical Nighttime Routine & My Clinical Bag

Its not aesthetic and its nothing special but this is really what my nighttime clinical routine is. I also ended up going to bed at 12am the next night to finish my clinical assignment so I also want you guys to know not everything is so structured in my life. Anyways, I hope you enjoyed :)

side note: shields could not leave the hospital so they could properly clean them. Then we were not allowed to wear personal masks for obvious reasons and thankfully we were able to throw away our masks after each day of use.

Do you find that flash cards only work for some subjects? I’m currently doing palliative care, care support and care of the older person as part of HCA training and I find that flash cards don’t really fit for studying those subjects.

I don't get the no assessment things? Here in Quebec (canada) mental health is on fifth semester (third year) so we are more experienced before big violent/dangerous cases. You have your own patients and needs to do basically everything. The nurse doesn't really supervise, she just focus on other patients. We have a teacher who is there to supervise and evaluate us tho. I feel that the process in the US is different? I would find it interesting if you explain more about what you do in clinicals :)

My books are actually like 2 years outdate and made it very difficult to find all the right pages in the book since they are different so I honestly recommend buying them through the school or quarterly through chegg! Some of them I only had to rent so it saved so much money!!
