I may be a minority but I really like you talking about books in the vlogs. I don't really gravitate towards book focused videos, but I love getting mini reviews and recommendations, it feels more like the way you might talk to a friend about what you're reading rather than a dedicated video all about books, which feels a lot more formal and less conversational!

I had a friendly cat stay over in my garden many years ago. I attached a note to his collar with my contact info. His owner called me and we had a great chat about him and she was happy to learn that he had a safe place to hangout outside of her home. She and I built a close friendship and a few years later she let me "co-adopt" the cat, whose name was Michael. So anyway, don't be too scared to contact that cat's owner 😘

Really admire your stance on Everlane! It must be really tough as an influencer to choose to no longer promote a brand that you’ve worked with previously and who might want to continue to work with you, especially during such uncertain times. It’s definitely not lost on your viewers ❤️

Kaitlyn Byarugaba she could not even utter the words to directly and unequivocally state why she no longer wishes to promote the brand. That’s how genuine her distress at the treatment of those employees is. Exactly as she claims of Everlane - the proof is in the pudding. We’ll see how long she maintains her stance.

Glad you're addressing brands like Everlane & Reformation. That said, please be sure to call it out explicitly in the future rather than speaking vaguely! Both brands perpetuated racism against their BIPOC employees and it's important that we don't minimize that.

Totally agree with ally. She did the bare bare bare minimum here. I was so disappointed she promoted them in the last video after the racist actions came out and this footnote at the end of her video did not improve the situation. She really needs to do better

Really glad you addressed the everlane and reformation situation, unfortunate about them but if we want to see any type of progress there has to be repercussions for things like that and the only way WE can do that is voting with our money.

One of our neighbours cats comes to our house everyday and even sleeps sometimes! We love her. I messaged her owner and she was fine and just said her cat was friendly and didn’t mind and told us her name xx

the way to see changes within companies would probably be through sites such as glassdoor, but of course its v difficult to see even with that. but you've done the right thing to take a step back until you see changes

I wear chain extenders a lot. It seems that almost every necklace I have is 16 inches, but I would rather have them tiered than all bunching together at the same length. I use 1,3 and 5 inch extenders a lot.

Hi Lizzy, in regard to your cold sores, you should try lysine, im prone to them as well and a pharmacist recommended Lysine tablets to me last year and its a game changer. It helps them heal within a couple of days rather than weeks. I hope this helps. Thanks for your brilliant content, love from Melbourne, Australia😊

I got cold sores my whole life 5 or 6 times a year until the doctor prescribed aclivor and they annihilate cold sores before they even come up properly. Changed my life.

Lizzy, I really respect your stand on Everlane - I honestly just feel you should have done this before your last video where you linked to several of their products. You acknowledged the issue already in that video and now say you won’t promote their products - it just seems a bit too convenient. Love your work otherwise.

Years ago, my daughters had a kitten each, Charlie Reebok and Sam Nike. Our neighbour started inviting them in and possibly feeding them tidbits and so effectively, the cats spent as much time there as with us at home. I asked her nicely to stop encouraging them but it made no difference; the girls were heartbroken at seeing 'their' kittens almost daily but from afar. Cats aren't loyal in the way that dogs are so maybe check that it's ok with the owner? I see from another comment that 'co-owning' can work out fine but not always *sad face*

I wish people would stop to feed pets that are not theirs. We have the same problem with our horses. You can tell them 1000x to stop it and elaborate why they should stop, but they will still do it. I wanna punch them in the face as soon as they're starting discussing with me why they still wanna feed them. The horses can become badly ill, and they start fighting each other at the fence. I don't mind if they want to pet the horses but please stop the feeding (and 8/10 they bring kitchen waste or bread that can be mouldy). I have no problem with a free roaming cat visiting other people as long as they don't feed the cat (when it obviously has an owner).

Just a tip from someone who struggles with coldsores. Have you tried a rather high dose of vitamin D? I take 50 mcg (micrograms) witch is equivalent to 2000 iu (international units). It has helped me a lot in terms of size and how frequent it comes. However you are right! Sun and stress can provoke those bastards!

It's so sad, being an African-American that the world is the way it is. That we still have companies living back in the 40',50's, 60's and even further back. That these companies support sustainability but when it comes to humanity it talks marching in the streets for them to treat people right.

I look forward to your weekly videos so much! I find it very relaxing to watch/listen :) I just stumbled across a post on Instagram from Uniqlo garment workers who have not been paid by the brand for the work they have completed and they share very similar insights to the Everlane workers... it's heartbreaking but you may wish to reconsider working & promoting their clothes as well... i really love their stuff but i won't be supporting them going further :(

I had a terrible experience with Mejuri - my siblings gifted me a ring and after less than 6 months of daily wear the colour had completely rubbed off. It's a shame because their designs are great but the quality is disappointing, hope that helps!

I have a pair of earrings, bracelet, and two rings from mejuri that I never take off. Showering swimming everything. However, it might be best to remove gold plated jewelry before swimming in chlorine though..

I've purchased an earring and few necklaces from Mejuri. I agree their designs are very unique and pretty but the quality isn't there. All of the items I've purchased tarnished after few wears even though I followed all care instructions.

Thank you for addressing the Everlane situation - knowing it was a brand you recommended heavily, and worked with in the past - not addressing it felt like the elephant in the room. I agree with your stance about the impossibility of seeing whether Everlane has made strides to fix issues because of the internal nature of the changes. I've decided to stop purchasing from them entirely going forward. There are so, so, so many ethical and truly sustainable (but often) smaller brands doing a better job and making more interesting clothes. I'd love to see you seek out and hype these brands instead. Just my two cents.
