I’ve been watching you forever and don’t get me wrong I LOVE how you do your makeup, your half lash, freckles, bright blush bronzer lip but this makeup is so bridal! Like timeless. You can always do your own makeup but on your wedding day it would be nice to have this unique look that you’ll always remember. Plus the pampering is nice and after she’s done it doesn’t hurt to add a touch of blush or something that’ll make you feel more like you. Looks beautiful!!

Am I the only one who preferred the way Delaney did her makeup? The way Devynne did it was amazing but I just feel like Delaney knows how to her enhance her features rlly well (like her eyes and nose). And I rlly missed the pink blush everywhere. She looked less like herself when the makeup artist did it. But maybe i’m also just used to how Delaney does her makeup🤍

Professional makeup for sure! Devon’s style suits you so well - it’s softer and more airbrushed which is perfect for bridal. You still look like Delaney, just a bridal version of yourself! Your makeup style is beautiful too, but fits more of the Instagram aesthetic that lends well for your work. And you could always add your own touches to the professional look on the day of if you want to amp up the lip or blush!

As a makeup artist and recent bride myself, the makeup she did on you looks AMAZING. However there is a difference in how you do your own makeup. I did my own on my wedding day and I have NO regrets. I had a trial and I just didn’t feel like me in the photos I took on my phone after my trial. If you’re worried about being stressed about doing your own makeup on your wedding day - you might be but the trade off is you feel more yourself for the whole day/night. The hair, the wedding dress and the vibes of the wedding being all eyes on you puts you out of your comfort zone already. So I’m really just saying, if you feel like doing your own makeup, you should.

Felling like your self is so important. And a lot of my friends have had their makeup done and just didn’t communicate that they want their vibe still show your top contender your usual makeup style and have them do a bridal edit! Then decide. You’re gonna look at these photos for ever. But the time on that day goes soooooo fast having it done is one less thing on your plate.

Hi Clayton! When you two were getting Botox, you were wondering what the floors were made of. I’m an interior designer, so naturally, I was paying attention to the materials in the room as well! To answer your question, I believe that is a rolled sheet good made of vinyl - linoleum was a good guess! After it was rolled out on the floor, this rolled sheet good was welded together to create a seamless look, perfect for cleaning commercial spaces. Hope this helps!!

I love love the makeup artist’s work on you! Super luxe and timeless looking but go with your gut. If you know you’ll feel a 100% more relaxed doing your own then do it. It’s a mental thing for sure and super hard to give up control if it makes you uncomfy.

I will say I did my own wedding makeup only because I don’t look that great in “full glam” so I could control how much I used for lashes etc. In your case I would absolutely use the professional! The main difference I saw between how you do your makeup and hers was the nose contour. IMO hers will look better in photos. At the end of the day, do you! You’ll be beautiful and perfect no matter what!

Definitely get your make up done! Your skin looked amazing and your eyes looked amazing. Plus you don’t need the stress of doing your makeup. However, I did love the blush you did and the lipstick you did so maybe you just add your lipstick and a little more blush but otherwise the skin and your eyes Were amazing. Especially in pictures your skin will look flawless with doing it professionally get to the spots you can’t see.😊

Have you ever thought about doing a combo of getting your make-up done and doing it yourself? It might sound weird but then you might be able to get best of both worlds? I think you look STUNNING no matter what, but maybe being able to do your own brows and (majority) of eyes yourself and then get the skin/base/lips done by the make up artist? Then maybe too the base stays on even longer (which you obv want on your wedding day and night). Just a random thought I had as a type A girly haha - I totally get your whole thought process behind it! You could even try that combo method too with a mua as a make up trial?

I love the way you usually do your makeup but I really think Devynne’s suited your face a bit better for photography. Idk if you went heavier on the nose contour for your version since it was wedding makeup, but you have such a cute nose that I don’t think you need that much. I have mixed opinions on the makeup!! I did my own makeup on my wedding day, because I couldn’t imagine someone else doing makeup that felt like ME… I will say you feel like you on your day and feel glam! But you’re a bit more pressed for time because it took me longer than I normally would and didn’t get the “pampered” stress free moment you usually would! No regrets from my side, BUT Devon killed your makeup you look gorgeous so don’t think you could go wrong booking her if you want to just sit back and relax on your wedding day!

Although the artist’s makeup was beautiful, I do agree that you look different. I noticed that she tight lined your eyes and you typically leave your bottom lash clear-which could be why you looked different. She also placed blush higher than you typically do. I think that although the makeup looks good, you should feel like you. I would try her again but try a different makeup style because she just did a flawless blend. You’ll regret not looking like yourself or the way you want on such a special day. If your gut says, “I look different,” I would just try another makeup style or one more artist. Good luck beauty! I think you’re absolutely gorgeous both ways (literally can’t go wrong) but if it were me, I’d do my own I feel like you did look different (just slightly) and you’re so good at makeup anyways Alsooo you can get a makeup artist to put a plan together with you to umph if up and make it more bridal but it’s still you doing it at the end of the day 🫶🏼🫶🏼

This is obviously just my opinion, but I've always thought that the hair you do is stunning and could totally be bridal. When you do your really really curly up-do, that to me would be stunning. Just a thought as I think you're very very capable of doing your own hair in a bridal way, while not straying from your own vibes.

I don’t think the hair or makeup trials captured the baddie vibes that you typically bring. If your desire is to give very much quintessential bride, then I say seek out those that specialize in all things bridal. But it’s also perfectly fine to seek out artists and vendors that don’t fit neatly into the bridal industry box. I began my wedding planning by focusing on the vibes… how I wanted to feel on that day/how we wanted to feel as a couple. I think once you solidify that, the rest will fall into place. 💖💖
