finally reunited with my family after the pandemic! in this video i take you along my journey back home, reminiscing on my childhood home and also a little chit chat on my relationship with my parents.
i am beyond grateful for my parents but i also wanted to share how i deal with conflict which is in evitable within family. i hope this was helpful and somewhat comforting to watch.

Seeing your childhood bedroom is so nostalgic! I remember the videos you filmed in it when you were still back at school ❤ I'm sure this was a trip that you were nervous about and I'm proud of you too for having the courage to travel back ❤ I completely agree that all families have their problems and relationships take a lot of work and patience. Parent-children relationships are a struggle for many. Glad you opened up and talked about it.

I feel so same. It's healthier to live apart than arguing everyday. Maybe this is the faith for most asian families. Don’t feel bad you’re love your mother that's the important thing.

ahhh i gotta know - what is the fisheye camera you used at the beginning ? ❤ ; lol i remember being so jealous of your bedroom back in the day, it is lovely to see you spend time at home ~ i'm the same with my parents, and therapy has just taught me that i can't change them and need to try and forgive, but sometimes it is hard to forgive when they feel like they've done nothing wrong. trying to not feel resentful is hard but i imagine it will be worth it in the end, idk lol

damn similar situations i just saw my dad i hadn't seen for 7 yrs i visited just now this summer. I come from a childhood of abuse from both parents so limited contact with them is just the way to go especially when they don't recognize their fuck ups.

I completely understand Nuria💯Well like in my case with my dad and sibs.. maybe I’m too frank and they just can’t deal with the truth I say💁🏻‍♀️ I’m so sick with like unfair household situations like especially chores, money, treatment and etc. it’s like me versus them😅 I still love them but if I have my own money like Nuria, i’m effin living alone and problem my own problem but sad, don’t have money to settle on my own💔
