ABOUT ME
My name is Kian (23), I have a quirky sense of humour, and my favourite organ is the kidney (who makes regular appearances in my videos).
Should all things go according to plan I will be graduating with my MD come 2022! My goal with this channel is to share the RAW and REALISTIC parts of being a medical student through my personal experience to better inform people who are interested in medical school...or at least make you smile
I'm still learning how to make videos and I look forward to seeing how this channel IMPROVES and EVOLVES. Constructive feedback always welcome!

I really love your vlogs! So inspiring, fun and realistic tbh. Other channels focus too much on the aesthetics but you’re giving us the realistic side and the bad side of medschool as well. So glad I saw your channel, incoming first year medstudent here and I’m honestly so excited about it even though I know it will be hectic lol best of luck. Awesome video! I'm starting rounds in July - you should do a video on your studying workflow for how you decompress after a day and learn and get ready for the next day (such as Anki, Notability, Notion, MS word, whatever)

I primarily assisted in Vascular surgeries when I first became a Surgical Assistant. I LOVED it. I eventually transitioned into neurospine. Loved that as well but will always have a love of Vascular. I retired from the OR six years ago and this made me miss it very much.

Kian! I've been watching your videos since I started 1st year med and have always turned to your channel for support and company during the years. I’ve been watching you for so long and you are so inspiring!! I always have doubts about becoming a doctor/surgeon but everytime I watch you all of my doubts just fly away💀 honestly the thing is I’m not doing so well in school right now which is making me stressed but hopefully it gets better because becoming a surgeon is my dreeeammm and it’s been my dream for so long!!

I thought i recognised a hospital a while a back from an ig story maybe?!! I used to work at that hostel a few summers back and also struggled to sleep it got so hot!! Lowkey amazed you stayed there/in a hostel environment and still worked those crazy hours!

Why does the patient have to be awake for a stent? I've had 4 heart attacks and it hurts when they go through my wrist or groin.

The more I'm watching, the more I get the feeling that this is not what I want. I'm already in 3rd year in MBBS and I'm getting the idea of either changing now or graduated then look for a reconversion. Where I am, MBBS last for 6 years

I’m in my fifth year I wish I stopped when I first realised because it just gets harder to put in the work because as time passes you become more certain it isn’t what you want. I hope you find the courage to do what’s best for you
