Hey Nita! I live in southwest Arkansas and unfortunately I notice Confederate flags as well in various places. To be honest, there is a lot of racism here, especially in the South. Most are slick with it, but there are some who are bold and test the Jesus in you. I have family in Bentonville. Glad you got a chance to visit Arkansas.

Nita, I'm the same way, wherever I travel I am looking to make sure I'm safe, I make it a point to make a mental note if I see those flags and that's within the US. Thank God for Jesus He is with us all the time to keep us and protect us from our going out to our coming in. Safe travels.

CONGRATULATIONS!!! All your looks were beautiful!!! Concerning the flags, yes, I am so familiar with that. I live in metro Atlanta, and when riding in certain (rural) areas, especially to the surrounding Atlanta , they are very noticeable. Also, when I visit my 2nd home near Houston, there are a lot!

I live in the N.East and there are no confederate flags but there are Trump signs in certain areas. (They are the same as confederate flags in my book.)Too many US flags is another sign up here as well.

Hey girl hey.. Welcome to Arkansas... but Bentonville... girlfriend.. so sorry that was your experience, but yes... Confederate flags are norm there (North Arkansas). We here in Little Rock, no ma'am! Congrats on your nomination. God is doing great things in your life. BTW.. no that is NOT a Southern thing, especially in Arkansas.. that is a Bentonville/Fayetteville thing period!!!!
