fun fact( a lot might already know this) but there is a word for what ava is feeling called sonder meaning the realization that each random passerby is living a life as vivid and complex as your own-populated with their own ambitions, friends, routines, worries and inherited craziness-an epic story that continues invisibly around you

The first time I got a Pap smear done I had a really good experience too! The doctor not only showed me the tools she was going to use, she let me hold the speculum so I could see what it looked and felt like, and she explained every single step of the process completely and gave me plenty of time to ask questions. And it was over so fast too. I know not everybody lucks out and has that comfortable of an experience, but it's more likely that you WILL than that you WON'T- so don't worry if you're reading this and you have to get one!

The eye patches can go both ways depending on what you want out of them and where you want to target :) big side out for crows feet and fine lines and big side in for under eye puffiness! Honestly the hyaluronic acid ones are bomb.

Ava! I know you love ceasar salad and as a fellow lover, I have a recipe i think you might like! It’s delicious and I think you’ll love it. One egg About 1/2 ( or more ) oil ( I use avocado oil is best but you can also use olive) About 3-5 tablespoons of lemon juice Salt and pepper 2-3 cloves garlic handful of parmesan cheese Makes everything in a little blender in poor over washed romaine lettuce, croutons, parm, and bacon bits optional

Ever sense I learned what a Pap smear was I have been really uncomfortable and fearful with the thought of it 💀 but you saying that that was it and that it wasn’t that bad, it definitely made me a little more comfortable with it! In Poland after you turn 18 you get a pap smear at least once a year, so I've had my fair share of them and believe me it doesn't hurt if done right, it's just a little pinch :)

I've had the same realization about my place in the world and recently learned about a concept that I think embodies that idea pretty well - sonder. To sum it up, this is the definition from urban dictionary lmao: "Sonder is the realization that everybody around you, even strangers, are living a life just as complex as yours. Sometimes you're hurting so bad and you feel you're the only one. But after all your hardships you start to realize that everybody is so unique and you aren't the only one. Everybody's lives are so indescribably different and there is no way you will ever understand their lives. To sum it up you are realizing that you're not the only one living with such chaos and complexity. All people's lives are unique, strange, chaotic, and complex, just like yours. You're not alone."

I think it’s so great that you shared about your pap! Women’s health is so important and I feel like there’s a lot of fear in getting paps so if we normalize it, it’ll help ease that fear and encourage young women to take care of themselves. I have a lot of friend who didn’t have parents who spoke to them about stuff like that and they reach out to me which I don’t mind but it’s just so important that we make it comfortable for everyone ❤️

Had a Pap smear in my senior year of high school due to health concerns / irregular periods I also had an ultrasound and tbey used a device that went into me 😮 I’m glad I got to learn about this when I was young, but I wish I knew that was a thing taught in high school and what to expect . It’s awesome you’re sharing your experience :) it’s a normal thing that women have to do thank you for talking about it!

i really loved this blog so much and you don’t know how much i needed to hear someone talk about their feelings and their thoughts and i almost cried. these days were really hard on me, and everything was so suffocating and its the finals and on top of all that i feel so lonely i cant talk or ease my mind a little bit. then i open social media apps and just seems like everyone in a good a mood and stressless. i know that these are just clips from their lives but because all the stress and the loneliness i feel so bad. like the past two weeks i cried more than i cried for the whole year. it was the write discussion that i watched this vlog before studying now i feel like im more comfortable ♥️

You probably won’t ever see this but the talk you had at the end was what I needed today. I’m going through some things and I try to be positive and hold myself together always thinking people have it so much better than me bc of social media and that’s not always true. so late on this video but all the CPK's near me closed and i was desperate to have their mac n cheese and it's so easy to make!!! use 1/3 box spiral pasta, 9oz of velveeta, 3/4 cup of heavy cream and like 1-2 tbsp of butter and that's it!!! it's so yummy

Well I am definitely glad you had a great experience with that. When I had my first one it hurt so bad and I cried. I think I got that done like 3 years ago and I have never gotten one again. My experience was terrible! The lady did not start off with the smallest speculum (the clamp thing) even though I told her I was still a virgin. Luckily my mom was with me and she told her to use the smaller one. Since it was my first time I had no clue.
