Your fake tree is gorgeous! And practical! We do a real tree every year, usually balsam fir or white pine. I do think it might be largely regional on how fresh they are. We are fortunate to live near a lot of tree farms. We’ve never had issues with needles. I will give a tip that some might not know - always do a first cut (of an already precut tree cut a bit off) and then put it in water as soon as you can! It will absorb the water much quicker. The little tree cut can be painted and decorated too!

I definitely think that cutting your own is the way to go with a fresh tree, we’ve bought precut trees that also had to be taken down before Christmas Day! It also really depends on where the tree is in your home, ours is in such a main walkway too that the needles would make such a mess but if it’s tucked in a corner maybe that wouldn’t be so bad. Anywho, enjoy the new tree! Love the clove oranges 🍊
