can't rmbr what I used in this video, prbly something local but right now I use coffee sent from Trade Coffee. It's a subscription service.

Can you make grind finer then post video of pulling shot? First shot was too fast.

I know in the video I mentioned I set it back to 3, but I set it back to 3 since that’s how the machine came and once it was grinding, I went ahead and set it to the finest setting, which is setting 5 if I’m not mistaken. So the espresso shots that came out were all on the finest setting. It’s not as customizable but very convenient imo and so far we still love the machine :)

The breville bambino plus is what I'm looking at, then get a separate grinder. So much better quality than the "Cafe" brand. Anyways thank you for this video, I was looking for a video on this just to reinforce my decision. My bday is Dec 31st 1999 so I wanted to get a good quality espresso machine. 😅

That sounds like a rly great setup. I was going between the bambino myself and ended up with specialist grinder and the gaggia evo pro. I wouldn’t recommend this cafe machine. First one had descale issues so they sent me a new one and that one ended up leaking from the bottom after less than a year later. It looks great, makes good coffee but I don’t think espresso machines is their specialty and I’d stay away

Sorry to hear you’re having issues! I haven’t had any app connection issues but I can see it ruining the coffee experience big time if it doesn’t work :/

I still have it and do like it. Been meaning to do a review on it since I’ve had it for about a year now. There are a few things I don’t like. I ended up getting a replacement bc they wouldn’t refund, since it was past return date. But both machines have a mold issue: that’s my biggest turn off. The way machine is designed, it emptied the hot puck into the tray below and it’s all sealed off, making it the perfect environment for mold to grow. And if you aren’t cleaning it literally everyday, mold will eventually grow. So you have to be on top of it. Otherwise it’s very easy to use, looks nice & makes good coffee.

@@TashVitorsky oooo. That’s frustrating. So if you could do it again would you rebuy it? Or no? I have a nespresso creatista pro but I just want a way to also try/use fresh beans. And nespresso pods are expensive. Although i would still have both just to change it up.

@@brittanybeardsley5474 I switched from Nespresso Pixie for the same reason (price + wanted bean to brew). I prbly wouldn't buy it again tbh. I do love how it looks and how easy it is to use + it makes a great cup. But I'd rather get something like a Breville. I used to be intimidated by them and think they take too much effort. But I recently got sent a CasaBrews which is similar and I actually enjoy the entire process. If you're willing to dump the pucks and keep the interior dry literally everyday, then you'll be fine. But once mold starts, it's hard to keep it away. I think it's poor design on their part but they won't acknowledge that.

@@TashVitorsky i love the look of it and how it’s an auto brew. Yet still fresh grounds. I have 3 girls 4 and under and so i love the quickness start to finish nespresso is and was hoping that machine would be too. I had a breville barista before my nespresso (I’ve learned and grown alotttt since then (6 or so years ago) and i just hated the mess and inconsistency of a shot. If you got it good it was a 10 but a few 2s here and there and the nespresso is a solid 8. Ahhh now I’m conflicted. Do I just stay with what I got or enjoy the process or try something else. 🙈

I think this machine would be ideal for what you’re looking for. But only thing, is you’d have to be on top of cleaning out and keeping the tray area clean where the pucks go. And you should be good.
