I paused the video where we could see Tyler’s shirt and asked my teenage son if he could figure it out, he got it instantly! He’s also very musical so it was a breeze for him :) Thanks to Pinocchio for the zoomies! He’s so cute! ❤❤🐶🐶❤️❤️

Might I suggest the Filipino version of Mancala (called Sungka) that uses cowrie shells. You can really get flying with that set!

The Sol de Janeiro number 68 was the perfume I work when I met my long distance boyfriend for the first time after knowing each other for over 16 years 🥰 I will always cherish that scent and it always reminds me of that special time!

Disney had to be lying about the phone and the post office. USPS got a package from Florida to California in two days. Mailed out on Saturday and arrived on a Monday. It probably sat in a bin for a week waiting to go out with other packages. That sucks and bless you for going that long without a phone!

When my kids loose the mancala beads I buy more at Dollar tree. They have a bunch of beads that are perfect for that game. Even teachers love them for replacement pieces 😜

Oh, mancala! A 9 year old I nannied taught me how to play that game back in 2013. Also, I just finished making corn chowder for the first time because my pregnant self was craving it and it turned out SO good. Y’all have inspired me to cook so much more. I’ve always been intimidated by it, but y’all have really shown me how easy peasy it can be. I’m enjoying a heaping bowl of it in this “cold” 60 degree weather in TX. 😂

Tyler’s shirt is guitar chords, dad. I used Mancala as a teacher, especially in 5th grade. You can buy replacement beads. Great game. Love seeing you two have so much fun together.p!

Graeters!! Oh man- I grew up a Cincinnati native and this is my first Christmas away from that neck of the woods. I always so appreciate getting to see a little bit of home thanks to you guys ❤️ You gotta try one of their soda floats made with black raspberry chip ice cream AND black raspberry syrup.. too good (and free soda/syrup refills) Been following since before Gigi and this house, and I’m very thankful to be along for the ride 😘 Here’s to another Vlogmas!

My husband and I play Backgammon many nights a week. It’s one that we can play without too much concentration. We also play cards. We love Phase 10 which I discovered from your suggestion. We are newly empty nesters and now that our kids are home for their break, we will break out all the board games. Pictionary, Taboo, Scattergories, Rummykub,etc.❤

Played what you guys call Mancala as a kid in the 80's growing up in SoCal. We called it Marbles, the "board" was much bigger and the wells for the marbles were much deeper. We loved it and everyone cheated, Lol!!!

Ooohh Graeter's yummy. I live in the Cincinnati area and I'm telling you nothing beats that ice cream. My favorite is the mocha chocolate chunk. As coffee lovers, you both HAVE to try that one. If I get a pint of it, it's always sooo hard to not finish it off in one sitting. The coffee flavor isn't really strong, but it's there. It's just so good 😊. Loving vlogmas this year, and I have found tiny Tyler every time lol.

GUYS GUYS GUYS! LISTEN! Because I think you'll love it. My sister and I do this thing whenever we have a ton of different leftover dinners or lunges or stuff in the fridge that we need to use up (especially good if you are staying in an Airbnb and you have a ton of groceries to use up before you leave) We call it dinnercuterie, and It's where you take a little bit of everything warm it up and put it on a platter, large plate or cutting board and eat it like a charcuterie board! but it's leftovers so it's dinnercuterie 😂

I love SDJ #68. It's my #1 favorite scent. I have never heard of Mancala. Your neighbors are wonderful. I love the cutting board. Mancala gems look like the glass beads (vase filler?) they sell at dollar tree. Maybe try replacing them with those. The sweater spells DAD with guitar chords.

I'm so excited you featured Graeter's ice cream! I'm from Cincinnati where it started, and this is a staple treat! Their strawberry ice cream is the best strawberry ever! But I also highly recommend the seasonal flavors of any kind... although Key Lime Pie in the summer and Peppermint at Christmas are the best in my opinion!

I lost power for a few days. We had a tornado outbreak here in the Nashville TN area last weekend and I played banana grams with my husband. It was a lot of fun. I’m hoping to play it more often. Now I’m going to have to check this game out.
