The reason the veg is 15p at Christmas is because veg is in season in winter. Cucumbers are smaller because they are not in season in winter. They are in season in summer. Same as Strawberries are cheaper in the summer as they are in season then ( a plenty ) So stock up on veg in winter because that’s when they are their cheapest.

I’m with Mumma G, I’m afraid Shannon. £360 a night for a hotel is extortionate! They do rip people off on New Year and it’s double price for taxis too in my area, over Christmas and New year. We had that clementine bucks fizz from Tesco too, my sister really struggled with opening it too. I love Asti but it’s pretty expensive now as you say.i told my sister to open it through a window but she insisted she could do it inside and I was petrified that it would pop in her face or smash a window or something, as I know how hard they can be to open. I was back at work, the day after Boxing Day, blooming retail 😫 Happy New Year to you, Mumma G and Dan xx 😘

Just seen your eggs in the fridge Shan. Eggs don’t need to be in fridge. Makes more room if left out on side. I use to put them in the fridge until someone sent me a link about not having too 😊 Got myself one of those fancy hens made out of wire to put them in! 😂

Shan you make me tired just sat watching your vlog’s. You never seem to stop with this KZfaq ie filming editing and eating etc and when I read the comments there is always someone giving their opinion, mostly positive comments but one negative and the positive ones forgotten. You are happy with your life style and you are the only one that matters. I think a lot of people don’t appreciate the effort you put in sometimes and as your numbers have gone down hopefully it’s the negative people have gone on to pick on someone else. HAPPY NEW YEAR to the three of you and hopefully Mamma G feels better 🎉❤Xx

Love potato mashed with swede …. Also, one of my favourite is swede, carrots and parsnips mashed together with butter, salt and a small dash of white pepper!

I had the same problem with British Gas, before we knew it we owed them £1500, then they refused to put us on a payment plan and demanded the full amount, luckily I went to citizens advice and it got sorted

They cannot refuse to put you on a payment plan only know because hubby got a dehumidifier Feb 22 bill came in . He rang and payments went up for a while but that dame waste of money has not been on since 🙄 happy to hear you got it sorted . Take care

There whole attitude changed once citizens advice got involved, now if I never thought to go to them I don’t know what I would have done, and they wonder why people are scared to heat there homes, I think a big part of it was poor customer service. 👋 hey I’m along time silent subscriber I love your vlogs and videos!! Just wondering what is that gift you got you mum and dad each with the different activities once a day thing? Can’t remember what it is and I would love to do something like this with my dad. We are close like you and mama g.
