I used to want to restock too when i wanted an eye pleasing kitchen. Learn rapidly that it cost a shit ton of money to buy the good looking containers and for the few i got, you better choose one that can hold the same amount as the original or you're stuck with the ugly leftovers you don't know where to put cause the good containers are occupying the kitchen.

Yeah, I came to the same realization. Wanted to have a nice pantry in my first own apartment but these containers are so expensive and you kinda have to measure every item you buy just to see if it fits. I gave up and simply put a curtain there so I don't have to see the mess 😂

It could be that maybe their cabinets are not tall enough for those spaghetti containers. They could also have younger children and maybe they break it to make it easier for their kids to eat.

The only food I refill is rice since it comes in a large bag and i buy refills for hand and dish soaps that come in less plastic packagings.

Aside from the 'looks' of it, you can also give the containers like boxes, bottles etc. to some organizations/groups who collect them. And it's better to gather everything at once before doing that. I just hope that these tiktokers are doing the same instead of just throwing em in the trash improperly.

Alot of people in this comment section don't seen to know and understand Aesthetics. They move the product from the packaging into containers because it's more Aestheticly pleasing and looks better than having them in the store bought packaging, plus they are rich so you really think they gonna keep it in the store packaging

what really gets on my nerves about these videos is how these people act like they NEED to move the old stuff to a different container. just keep it in there. it literally makes _no_ difference

Yes it can. It can be less bulky. So maybe the fat tub of washer pods can't fit in a compact space or a revolving tray. Also it's a smaller entry point which means it can hurt your hand as you dig in. A clear jar let's you see what's left, but a plastic tub can be dropped as you tip it to see the inside. Like wise a revolving tray (and thus putting things in fitting containers) saved you from having to shuffle things around and tip things over to get what you need. Likewise, in a contained space things are less likely to get moved around or to another area by someone in the house hold. Then you got things like the fridge stuff and again, containers help everything to not go spilling everywhere. And if they're in neat stacks, you can fit more in, cause some things can't stand up on their own ect. There's people in the world like you who can function in a mess of shuffling stuff around and there's people who thrive on convenience and organized spaces. And yes, using organizers DOES help to get more use in your spaces, and SOME container changes just make sense for this and for ease. I WILL grant you the beginning where she took candy into small jars and then still had now open packages made NO SENSE.

That rice might not, but that olive oil will since it lasts longer in its original bottle and will go bad quicker in that other bottle. I didn't find this fact out until another commenter pointed this out so luckily I haven't done that myself

I appreciate the aesthetic, but that's about it. Imagine living with these people who do this? It's so wasteful. I have a hard time believing they eat all that food as well. And what do you do with the containers after you put the food in the container and it only fits partway in? You end up with two wasteful containers. Also I am impressed by the fact that most of the women do this with one hand while holding their phone with their other hand lol

I hate when they pour something into something else while they pour new stuff into the container for example the cereal and rice (and some other things) I hate how they poured the rice into something and just poured it back in after they put more in it that is just stupid most of this stuff I wanna do someday but some of this stuff is dumb lol

I get annoyed when the opposite happens since I've worked with food and in stocking grocery stores and we were always putting old stuff in front, new stuff in back. So the old stuff doesn't go bad before it can even be used. Even if something doesn't expire I hate when it isn't rotated correctly
