I make the same scrub and I love adding coffee and vanilla to mine.. I also use coconut oil and add cocoa powder and cinnamon :D It smells amazing!

I use chamomile oil, jasmine oil, olive oil, cinnamon, coffee, milk powder, honey, sugar cane, and Himalayan salt.. I called it cinnamon, coffee n milk honey body scrub! it's so amazing for my skin.. ❤️ this hack!

You can use Babassu oil.. my daughter allergic to coconut oil Babassu oil is a substitute For people that’s allergic to coconut oil it’s a year later and you probably already have this information

Great video, Kendra. You always do such a good job with editing to make it look so pretty. Just a little hint - I have used coffee grounds before for a scrub & it screwed up my plumbing. Kendra used a small amount so I'm sure it's fine but try not to use more than that. Happy Friday everyone :)

I just started making soaps and wanted to start making sugar scrubs and salt scrubs but I was told they can Mold without preservative put into it. Will this happen? or how long do they usually stay good? please let me know :) thanks

Natalie Marie, they will mold if you use water or water gets into it. So if you add water then you should use a preservative, but it you use it up quickly (I do, because I love them) Tran no need too worry

I always add honey to mine, too. And fresh lemon juice. And yes, you can use it on your face. I make mine with brown sugar and use it on my face once or twice a week

Room temperature is fine - the only problem I've run across with the coffee grounds is it has causes some plumbing issues - I had used 100% coffee grounds though. I like the idea of only using a little bit like Miss Kendra did. Just be aware. You'll love the scrub though. :)

Sugar doesn't really have expire date. It's the oils that gets bad if you don't seal them properly

I would not use vegetable oil. Coconut oil or grapeseed oil works too.

too bad you didnt mention a lot of essential oils shouldnt come in contact with your skin. a lot of people could get hurt because of this. but i loved the tutorial otherwise!
