Sometimes the data is so mixed that VLOOKUP doesn't work. Because lookup value is not clearly readable, applying simple VLOOKUP formula won't help.
This is where we use VLOOKUP with wildcards to perform partial text match to find our return value even if our lookup value is not easily readable from lookup column.
