Very detailed instructions, easy to follow, voice as clear as day, very helpful.My bike has trouble keeping charge. All forums point towards stator. Fingers crossed

Thanks, it’s not a bad fix, after you change the stator and rectifier, be sure to always use a trickle charge while it’s sitting also

Great video! I wish you would do videos about all the maintenance, and repairs, for your Honda VLX 600. This was easy to follow, and listening to your voice was calming and confidence inspiring :) I’ve had my Honda VLX 600 since December of 2021. My first motorcycle, a Yamaha V Star 250, I purchased in February of 2021. I took the Honda from Nebraska to California and then down into Baja Mexico in the spring of 2022. On the two bikes combined, I’ve traveled all over the country, a total of just over 28,000 miles, in the last two years. When I’m away on a trip it’s really nice to understand the maintenance and repair issues. I’m not having any problems with the charging system, but I want to know as much as possible about everything that might go wrong.

I have a 1988 Honda shadow 600. And mine did not charge anymore so all I did was cut off the burnt connectors and spliced them together again.. It works good now...

The video is fine except for that make sure that you never forget that Rick's regulators and rectifier are much better made than caltrick and last longer

Put the top two little gears on the magnetized side of the bike first and then installed the stator and cover. Its a whooooole lot easier.

Are those extra pieces that you got with the kit to fix the plugs, do those fit on the rectifer itself, or are those the clips that the rectifer plugs into on the bike itself
@MackLife872 жыл бұрын
Yea it was a repair kit for that type of plug, it came with rectifier, I’ll look and see if it’s the male or female not sure, gotta locate in my garage
