We reaallly really need scheduler on vMix! It will take it t the next level specifically for churches! This is my favorite program!

Agreed. ProPresenter 7 has scheduling. Maybe you can implement this in vMix with scripting? (I dunno. I just downloaded it)

Nice overview. I use triggers all over the place in my productions. Very useful for executing a smooth production. The only un-intuitive piece about triggers is that the delay time base is milliseconds and the editing 'mode' for a trigger is a strange workflow. Took me a while to figure that one out. Now, I wish my digital mixer had the ability to construct triggers like vMix can. Triggers are a great feature.

Triggers are super cool, but it would be very cool, if you trigger a Videos end, that you can automatically fade out automatically BEFORE the video ends. I don't see a possibility to avoid a video stopping at the end while fading this way.

Can you use a negative delay? so that you can trigger a transition just before the clip finishes...

what if for example want to add onpause in input panel then setvolume fade to 0db in 4second, or onplay video/audio in time 1minute.30sec then overlay1.

Using VMIXCALL, I send audio from return video to audio BUS-A and microphone for intercom. With OnAudioMeterDB, when the microphone level for the intercom is above, can I briefly reduce the audio levels in the return video and then automatically recover?

Please how can I capture the same destop screen during livestream without capturing the vmix software itself to the live production? I use NDI destop capture software but during it records everything including the vmix software itself. After switching to the desktop capture input in vmix, it begins to record everything including the vmix interface itself to my live production. I want to know how I can capture only the destop application screen to my production. Is there a way I can do that?

Hi guys. I have a small but annoying issue with one of my inputs. Whatever trigger I give it, it won't perform that action. Its a video file, a countdown timer with a transparency, and music embedded into the video file. I'm trying to get it to fade to main cam once complete. Full transparency here, the video file MP4 was created externally for me and doesn't have multi view layers on it. Wondered if there's a workaround to get it to trigger? TIA. Paul

Hi there! im filming a motorsport event and are using 3 cameras split around the track. im collecting sound from all of them and let the audio be live all the time to get overall sound so its not quiet when the competitors are on the opposite side of the track. would it be possible to have a trigger to fade the volume of the live camera 1 to be louder and fade down again when camera 2 is live? many thanks

Yes, you could set a trigger for OnTransitionIn and OnTransitionOut of each camera. Then use SetVolume as the function for the camera input and select the audio level 0-100 for each trigger.

Hi, unfortunately we don't have support for ad-blocking browser plugins. You'd need to use a desktop capture of a browser window with these plugins installed.

Unfortunately as the camera is outside of vMix and the computer, you wouldn't be able to trigger the recording inside of the vMix production.

the delay seems to just turn it off. When I set the delay to 0, the title shows up, but when I change the delay to ANYTHING ELSE, it doesn't work.

Hi Tim and vMix team. Love some of the videos you guys have created. However....I wish you guys would start with a clean slate and build up from there. In this video...trying to learn how to use triggers...I wanted to know how to do the intro the way you have it. But you don't explain that. Going to triggers menu I don't know how to start the show using which command. You guys leave steps out that a new user needs to be successful with the learning of your software. I teach photography to beginners learning how to use Manual mode, and cannot expect my students to know things that I take for granted. Again...starting from a clean start with no inputs would be helpful and step by step. Thanks.

@@vMixhd Lordy Lord....ahhhhh....tried over and over watching the older videos and the new release videos on setting up triggers. I admit I am not the sharpest tool in the shed...but I can handle this. I want to start with a graphic, fade to another graphic that triggers a start of a video, then go to a camera. I cannot figure where I am suppose to add the triggers (which input) to get the entire intro sequence going. One issue is you guys are recording your show, so are not able to start from a blank setup and walk us through the steps. Would it help to see you live show and ask questions there? Thank you.
