In today's video, Chuck and Joe sit down and talk about pulleys. They cover our range from 92 MM to 66 MM specific to supercharged Coyotes and this range of 6-rib options. This is a very general discussion and keep in mind that your car/build may require something specific to how it is set up. It is always best to consult your tuner and builder regarding the specific needs of build.

Joe and Justin are excellent tuners. My only gripe is i was told 800-850wheel with my set up on e85 and 82mm pulley, and i dyno'd under 700wheel. Bur since then Justin has sent me updated tune and it feels stronger, just haven't re dyno'd again. Couple more wot logs and Tune updates and i should hopefully be close to 800wheel at 7500rpm. But they are both outstanding tuners. Sometimes it takes time to dial in a badass motor...lol

You guys need to fix the webpage when searching for pulley's for the 03/04 Cobra's. When you look at single pulleys it gives boost levels only for the VMP 2.3 ( which you dont even offer anymore ) with no break down of what it makes if on the VMP 2.6. The only thing that lists boost levels for the VMP 2.6 is when you look at the listing for just the blower by itself, even on the max kit ( which I have ) there is no break down of what pulleys make what boost levels, so then ( like I did ) I went and searched for single upper pulleys on the site and ended up ordering the wrong one thinking I would be making 18 PSI for my set up only to find out I'd actually be at 23 PSI on pump 93.....not good. Love your guy's products but that site is in need of some help. I'll be calling tomorrow to get the pulley returned, which I had rush shipped thinking my dyno tune will be soon so now I'm stuck eating the expedited shipping cost on top because of misinformation on the site. Not really happy at the moment.

There really does need to be some changes made on the site for the 03/04 Cobra pulley section, at least adding the boost chart for the 2.6 to the max effort options link. The cars may be getting older but that does not mean people are no longer modding them and the correct info should be more apparent on the site. Thank you.

Joe basically said the 75mm pulley is limit with fic 1000cc injectors, with vmp fuel system on e85. 72mm would require 1300 injectors on e85. Although i know a 2009 gt500 running a 69mm pulley with gen3r e85, fic 1000cc injectors and he is fine with good air fuel ratios all the way to 7k rpm.

None of that sounds too unreasonable and yes, a lack of restriction from a good flowing set of heads, cams, intake, etc such as the Boss' Roadrunner will produce a slightly lower boost number. In the end, the statements made in this video are generalizations and estimates made from the numerous cars we've tuned. It'll come down to the tuning team reviewing logs regarding your specific car to be absolutely sure everything is safe.

The pulley sizes used on the Roush head units are a bit different as they are a different size supercharger than our VMP Gen3R and Odin head units. When we're discussing anything less than an 88 mm on a 2.65L Gen3R/Odin, it'll require more than 93 Octane to be safe.

Hey Chrystian. The margin for error is so tiny when running such a small pulley on 6 rib. The belt sizing has to be spot on, tensioners upgraded and in good shape, and any misalignment absolutely dialed out. We typically recommend upgrading to 8/10 rib kit with an overdrive lower to add both belt width and pulley diameter to assist with grip once your need for boost reaches that level.

I had an Odin kit with the 92mm out on my 2021 Gt… bone stock with dealership gas and some 93 shell I added. It made 594hp 497 tq.. it pulled timing due to the low octane I’m hoping.. only 12 degrees of timing.. the tune 93@ 17 degrees.. after I get some good gas and octane booster.. should be 625-650… hopefully
