Excellent Video. Thanks lot. Maybe one point which is missing and very important nowadays: Identity & Access Management Systems such as Sailpoint IIQ, Omada or One Identity Manager. These kind of systems are usually used as centralized access provisioning (authorization) systems and can reduce the complexity of the whole IAM topic for enterprise companies.

Thank you for this great Video! I have 2 questions: - do you know if Microsoft in Azure AD uses "Level of Assurance (LoA)" and how they implemented it - I have two Office 365 / Azure AD tenants in my company, all users of one tenant are federated guests in the other tenant to grant access to resource like SharePoint. Both tenants require MFA. Now, when users of one tenant Access SharePoint in the other tenant, they are required to do MFA of this other tenant, and MFA of their own tenant is not accepted. In my opinion this is not a good Architecture and the MFA of their origin tenant should be accepted. Is LoA the Technology / Standard that should make this possible? Is Microsoft not using LoA? what is your opinion on this? Thanks again, Franck

Hi.. Level of Assurance (LoA) is much more a soft rule you as an admin decides on. But when using SAML, the SAML Context Classes (method of AuthN) can be used for this. If your LoA is purely based on the method of AuthN I would recommend making use of Context Classes. Of course, this requires both systems supporting this. I don't know if Azure AD does or not.
