O carnaval do Rio e a maioria dos carnavais do nordeste, principalmente aqueles que fazem festas imensas como a Bahia, Pernambuco, Paraíba, Ceará... Enfim o carnaval é foda!

Carnival in Brazil is really different in each state, this one is from São Paulo, in Rio is kinda the same (way better in my opinion) but if you go to Recife and Salvador the Carnaval in those cities are way different from Sao Paulo and Rio. We also have the street parties in every states. So, basically there are all kind of parties in each state of Brazil.

Last year one of the great samba schools in Rio de Janeiro, Mocidade Independente de Padre Miguel, made a samba about the Brazil-India relationship.

This is a championship of samba schools. Each school (team) receives a note in plot, dance, music, etc. The video is showing the championship of the state of São Paulo (the most important are from São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro). I'm not sure about the exact number, but each school must present itself with at least 2500 people. This is the kind of carnival to be shown on television. The party that surrounds the people is done in the streets.

No carnaval e assim são várias escolas de samba cada uma vem com um tema t uma hora cada para passar pela avenida os desfiles começam as 10 da noite e termina as 6 da manhã são dois dias de desfiles depois tem uma votação para saber quem ganhou tipo um campeonato

TUDO BEM, V_NESH E PRIYA, que orgulho ver uma cultura igual a de vocês mega antiga, admirando, exaltando a minha cultura, nessa que é a maior festa popular do planeta o Carnaval, no vídeo faltou o coração das escolas de Samba, Mestre Sala e Porta Bandeira e a ala das Bainas, vovós também curti Carnaval, seria legal ver a reação deles, mas obrigado a quem enviou, gostei do vídeo e perdão Gaviões da Fiel e Sampa, mas o Carnaval do Rio de Janeiro prá desfiles de escola de samba ainda é maior, melhor e mais tecnológicos seus carros alegóricos, Sampa evolui e está a alguns passos de se igualar ao Rio de Janeiro, olha que particularmente prefiro o Carnaval de rua do Norte, Nordeste e já passei vários carnavais na Marques de Sapucaí e alguns em Sampa. Parabéns pela evolução Sampa.

Carnival The second biggest passion of Brazil, there are samba schools, and people fight in a good way cheering for their schools of the heart as if it were a soccer team.

The carnival parade starts Friday night until Tuesday, yes, pratically a non stop exhibition. Wednesday is decided the Champion School of Samba for another presentation. Schools of Samba are divided in Leagues (A, B, C, and so on) depending on their sofistication.
