On the seventh of October, 2023, a murderous terrorist act with unimaginable cruelty was carried out in Israel by Hamas. During the terrorist operation, over a thousand innocent Israelis were murdered. In today's video, I will try to help understand the vocabulary related to the case - where it happened, who was the first to respond, and the definition of Mamad.
I wish a speedy recovery for the injured and the return of the hostages to Israel.

We saw a Jewish family here in the United States at an aquarium and they were speaking Hebrew! I heard them say children and one, two, three as they took a picture. It was fun to hear people in my real life speaking Hebrew.

This video is very useful, I must admit that watching the news on different Israeli channels on KZfaq has really challenged my comprehension skills, to say the least! Especially when there are six panelists all talking at the same time! I wish the news stations had the captions option as well like you do. Thanks for this video. A lot of french citizen would like to join you as volunteers , for example with Sar-el organization , but at the moment it seems to be impossible to contact with such organisations . Please , give us a way to come for helping hayalim , even if it's just for cleaning the rooms or helping in kitchen or whatever

I am French and I have a friend with SAR-EL who is presently working in Negev. It’s more difficult now but not impossible! I was in Israel by the time of the 1st war wirh Iraq….. I made a great lot of different things! Do try again and again. A lot of French people are volunteers; I remember that in the Gulf war, 600 people only from Nice couldn’t be taken only because there were already too many of them since it requires infrastructure to welcome people.

‏כמו אהבה של ילדים ‏שאלו קבוצה של ילדים צעירים "מהי אהבה בשבילכם?". אחד הילדים ענה, "אהבה היא כשאתה נותן למישהו את רוב הצ'יפס שלך בלי להכריח אותו לתת לך משהו בחזרה". וזאת באמת אהבה. הילד נותן את מה שמוצא חן בעיניו, את מה שטוב עבורו לטובת ילד אחר. ‏ילד שני אמר, "אהבה היא מה שמכריח אותך לחייך כשאתה עייף". וגם זאת אהבה. כיוון שבחיוך שלו הוא מרומם את הזולת, מעלה אותו. כנגד הרגשתו הנוכחית, הוא עושה בכוח פעולה נעימה לאחר. ‏ילד שלישי אמר, "אהבה היא כשאתה לובש כל היום חולצה שילד אמר לך שהיא יפה בעיניו". עוד ביטוי לאהבה. הילד רוצה לשמח את מי שהחולצה שלו מצאה חן בעיניו. ‏ילדים מרגישים מה זאת אהבה, אבל לאן היא נעלמת אחר כך כשאנחנו מתבגרים? איך מילדים אכפתיים אנחנו גדלים להיות אנשים שונאים ולוחמניים, אנשים שמזלזלים בזולת או סתם אדישים אליו? ‏הסיבה לכך היא האגו שלנו שגדל ורוצה לטרוף לעצמו הכול. ובכל זאת, הילד שבנו לא נעלם באמת, הוא אף פעם לא מת. הוא נשאר בפנים והוא נקודת פתיחה והזדמנות עבורנו להתחיל להתפתח בצורה לא אנוכית, לדרוך על האגו שגדל בנו עם השנים. ולשוב להיות אותו ילד אוהב, אלא שהפעם מתוך מודעות והתגברות. ילד גדול. ‏על רקע המלחמות הקשות שאנחנו עוברים היום נגד האויב החיצוני, והמאבקים הנוראים שמבעירים שנאה בינינו, נקווה שנמהר למצוא בנו את התמימות הפשוטה מאז, שתכסה על כל הפשעים ותרומם אותנו לאהוב איש את רעהו כמו ילדים, כמו שעם ישראל צריך להיות כשיגדל.

The letter ayin is gutteral which becomes G in English.unfortunately the only other example I can think right now is Sodom & Gemorah, which in Hebrew spelled w ayin

Gaza in Hebrew is עזה. The letter Ayin (ע) in old Hebrew represented two phonemes: /ʕ/, a pharingeal voiced sound, and /ʁ/, an uvular sound, like a parisian R or a hoarse, raspy G. The original sound of ע in עזה was /ʁ/, as the Greek transliteration, Γάζα "Gaza", shows. In the Tiberian pronunciation of Hebrew ע only represented the phoneme /ʕ/, and in the modern Israeli pronunciation became /ʔ/ (a glottal stop) or silent, therefore in modern Hebrew Gaza is transliterated "'Aza" or "Aza". The Arabic language has kept separated the two phonemes in the writing: /ʕ/ is ع and /ʁ/ is غ; effectively, Gaza in Arabic is غزة "Ġazzah".

okay okay you are right but how can you explain the murdering of innocent civilians in G__az__a ?? How can you explain bombing hospitals and schools ?? your only excuse is "to find H---am--as. How can you explain murdering babies and women by the Israeli army?? Is really your only excuse is to find where is H---a----mas?? even if you are looking for H---am---as, what did the innocent civilians do to kill them and to bomb the places where they live or the refuges. if you really have answers for my questions please answer me maybe I change my point of view. for all the comments " Please educate yourselves by knowing the reality "
