Your requests for me to check out Liliac has infested the comments section of my videos for the last couple years, and it's always been on the back-burner. No longer! I check out a band where the entire roster is family, and the lead singer has the gravel and grit to really throw down what looks like an incredible track of cover songs!

Elizabeth you need to hear and react to The Warning is a rock band from Mexico, first you should listen to their cover of Enter Sandman from Metallica, they were three little girls, the eldest one was fourteen, now they're 22, 20, 18, years old with incredible talent, and they play their own songs, I recommend Disciple, Evolve and Choke. Elizabeth I heard you sing you're an awesome singer, so talented and beautiful.

As I'm sure you have been told, Dio was Melodies main inspiration and idol. There is no bigger fan out there. His former drummer, Vinny Apice loves her voice and has invited her to perform with his latest band Sabbath Knights. Dio's widow, Wendy asked them to do Last In Line for the Dio Cancer Fundraiser and Apice gave them a previously unreleased version to do. They killed it!.I really hope you keep doing more Liliac, because as a totally independent band they can use all the support they can get...and they deserve it!

Dio is Melody's main inspiration. They also performed a live cover of Queen's We Will Rock You and We Are The Champions. Wendi Dio requested they do Last In Line for the Dio Cancer tribute virtual concert. Melody has also performed with Vinny Appice(Dio's drummer) in other bands. Vinny calls Melody the female reincarnation of Ronnie and calls her Melodio! Hopefully You'll do more Liliac. Their originals are good too!

Melody has a strong voice, a gift. The lead guitarist Samuel is a superstar. He is not only playing the song, but he is replicating it exactly. This takes far more talent and ear for the music than some may think. If this band was in the 80s, they would be main steam without a doubt.

Thank you for analyzing and reviewing my favorite band, Liliac. I was a huge Dio fan back in the 80s, but had drifted away from seriously following bands in the past few decades. Thanks again! 🤘🦇🤘

One of the things I love about this band is their ability to do great covers but also to do great original material as well. They are over the top amazing when it comes to talent and I believe have been smart to stay independent instead of going with a recording label that would take most of their money. They also do a pretty good job of recording videos such as the one with their original song "Sail Away" and then also with the Lita Ford/Ozzy Osbourne cover of "Close My Eyes Forever" featuring their friend, Mercury Cross. They are maturing and changing even their "LOOK' but the music is awesome and just keeps getting better. Good job as always Elizabeth.

Their cover of Ozzy's Crazy Train on the Santa Monica pier is awesome and they performed Iron Maiden on "The Voice" and blew the panel away, the kid on bass is also an incredible lead guitar player. I do not think I have ever heard anyone do Dio, Ozzy or Maiden better. I heard Dio's widow cried when she first heard them. She reminds me a bit of Janis Joplin.

Motion Device doesn't exist anymore. They're now Quarter After Three because the guitarist quit so there's just Andrea (bassist, keyboards), David (drums and percussions) and Sara (vocals). Quarter after Three has become this kind of slow, ambient, electronic band. They don't do rock anymore. I used to like them but when I discovered Liliac and I saw the slow demise of Motion Device, I stopped following them and became a fan of Liliac.

As someone who just stumbled onto Liliac a few weeks ago, I was really intrigued by all the vocal stuff you pointed out that I hadn't noticed yet. Having listened to all of Liliac's catalogue, more Liliac reactions please (covers or originals, all their stuff is great). They are all fantastic musicians and Melody is a great singer with a really unique voice. Plus they seem to be genuinely good people and deserving of all the fame they get. I'm also going to add my voice to the various other people I'm seeing suggesting "The Warning" in the comments. Another super talented band of siblings (3 sisters from Monterey Mexico) that play amazing rock music. Pau, the drummer, is both an incredibly talented drummer *and* a good vocalist. Dany, the guitarist and lead singer, is a great belter with some impressive range.

I'm 78 years old, and a huge fan of this band. I worked bars, playing and singing country and early rock, so I think I know enough music to recognize talent in any genre. I just happen to love metal in all its forms. I predict that Liliac will be as successful as they want to be. I thoroughly enjoyed your commentary. You are obviously very knowledgeable and professional. I'm glad you like these siblings, and I'm sure they will appreciate your positive review of their performance. Go Liliac!

AMEN!!! I'm now 61, haven't seen anything as captivating as this band in a long time! I've been following LILIAC for over 5 years now! And your correct! They can go as far as they chose! And for being independent, they are smacking it out of the park on every turn! And they've become very diverse!!! Not like so many young bands who's music seems to fit into one box! If you haven't heard more from them check out thier channel for more music! It's all fire!!!!!!!

They have perfect stage orchestration between each musician, they know how to highlight each players part by moving back and bringing them to the front. Very noticeable in the lead guitar section, you'll see her (singer) fall back while the guitar player steps up front during the solo. Well done! Just hope they stick together and not let some label try to split them up.

You wanna see Abby seriously playing drums, watch their video "Nothing". It's an original song by them and it rocks, Melody's vocals are great. Their cover of "Master of Puppets" is insane. The younger brother's almost as good on the guitar, but he started playing bass more when Melody focused more on singing. She used to play bass and sing. It shows it on earlier videos. One was a cover of Rainbow in the dark.

I've been a producer in the music industry for over 40yrs and this band is a new generation of metal n rock. The intonation and the synchronicity is unbelievable for this band, the last band that was in this caliber was a band from Australia called Silver Chair.Who said rock n roll is dead, not, the new generation of metal is here. By the way,is that Danny Partridge on the bass, lol.

Melody was 17 when this was filmed, I think. It's endearingly obvious how much she idolizes Dio. In some of their videos I can almost see Dio's ghost behind her, mirrroring all the little gestures and mannerisms she does. They have plenty of great videos. If you're going to check out more of them, I recommend their live cover of "Piece of My Heart". She does some really impressive throat acrobatics in that one. The video has real good sound quality, too.

Hello Elizabeth. I'm writing from Ukraine. And I'm sure that every classic rock fan is waiting for your reaction to Led Zeppelin - Since I've Been Loving You(Live at Madison Square Garden 1973). Also you must listen to some The Who live recordings. My personal favorites are Pinball Wizard(Live at Isle of the Wight 1970) and Love Reign O're Me(Live Aid 1985). Actually, this band has a lot of great stuff, however, these songs are perfect to rate them. Without a doubt, you will like The Who.

Wow, she really seemed like she was channeling DIO. Magnificent lower tone voice, I love a female voice that is a lower, warm register like that. She really must have studied Ronnie James Dio closely for this song, but she's also made it her own, which I love as well. The rest of the band was on point as well, and I too was pleasantly surprised at the female drummer. That really is a rarity I'd love to see more of. Great video as always Elizabeth, love your work!

OMG Elizabeth,I hope you read all of this!! For starters, kudos to you because you truly give the absolute best in-depth, expertly unbiased reviews of anyone else on KZfaq!! Seriously, your reviews are so captivating that I've watched at least 3/4 of the ones you've uploaded but if you're as highly impressed by Liliac's cover songs as many of us truly are, you'll absolutely be blown away by Melody's 5, or maybe even 6 OCTAVE, vocal range that she clearly demonstrates on their MUST SEE Black Sabbath cover of "Heaven and Hell" which they released about 4 months ago!!!!! It's so well recorded, shot, mixed, and performed that I am still in awe and utter amazement of all of the siblings' outstanding talent and skills on not only this but on all of their cover tunes!! So, if you haven't heard or seen Liliac's version of "Heaven and Hell" yet, you absolutely MUST check out this performance in all of its unbelievable glory!! I whole-heartedly (sorry about my ADHD here, but "Hole Hearted" is also a very noteworthy ballad from 1991 by the group Extreme you'd enjoy as well!) promise and assure you that it's far and away one of the absolute BEST COVER Songs you'll ever hear whether you're an old school Sabbath fan or not!! 🎼🎶🎤🎸🥁🎚️🔈🔊
