She is queen.. she is both powerful at techniques and also emotion. Her life is so inspirational.. she is devout christian singer who really more like singing to God more than fame/money which make us not much seen her on media/tv in korea even the world stage though she is worldclass singer vocalist ever!! Yet we can ussually see her more often her singing in chtuch or charities. She won from faught with cancer and kept her singing didnt give up in her illness. She is cancer surviver.and to sohyang, her goal is to use her voice to comfort people who are going through difficult times as she been through, these why ppl are emotionally in touch whenever she sing a song....

She is a Cancer survivor And still gets sick from Time to time. But is an Amazing Artist who gave up a Kpop career to sing for the Lord and for the Love of Music instead of stardom. She learned English as a Child from Disney Movies, which inspired her to Write two of her Books...(both Published and there are more). Also And Publicly thanks Marey Carey for teaching her everything she Knows about Music ... that is some Testament to The Power of Music So Hyang said in a rare interview that she graced a KZfaq vocal coach from Turkey (Emre Yucelen) with that the most difficult song she ever performed is "Everyone" and her reason was sustaining her breath .. among her fans "Everyone" is her her very best song but Arirang Alone with her Bb5 mixed belt is her signature Note .. in all honesty all her songs are amazing in their own right ... She also has diversity in genre's aside from CCM and Ballads even Rock (Mona Lisa) and HipHop/Rap (Day Day) from the original S. Korean show King of Masked Singer. Lastly she is also an Author of Several Fantasy Novels, and 3 children books...and right now is working on writing a 3 piece(set)novel....and hopes to write a screenplay one day

I love her so much too. In fact i start learning korean coz i want to know her mind more. i love her testimonies videos, i can understand some coz some are with eng sub. but there's a lot of her testimonies vids are without subtitles. haha..i want to read her books too. specially ones about christian faith.

Lucia and So-hyang, a must click! By the way their is on line a video from early in her career where she is using a pure whistle tone in the 7 range. In part of that video (from a korean variety show) she holds that whistle for 10-15 seconds! I think Maria would be jealous if she heard it! I was so worried she would hurt something!

@@LuciaSinatra I came across it by chance last year but it was difficult to find again. I'll look for it and post it to you when I find it. She was in her very early 20s and her vocal techniques were not as good as they are now but the talent and range was obvious! Lucia I promise you I'll locate it, research is my talent!

@@LuciaSinatra I haven't found the entire video only a small piece kzfaq.info/get/bejne/qa2pgtGbncmrqXk.html the video is entitled "SoHyang inspired by Mariah Carey". The original circa 2000, has her on about 5 minutes where she sings 2 songs and does her really long clear whistle, this part shows part of her post singing interview and demonstration of her whistle tone which wasn't as good or sustained as the one in her song. This though will show how much she has grown as a singer and artist since this time as she still had yet to master her voice control and technique!

Thank you for the upload Lucia. It is good to see you featuring Sohyang on your channel again, its been a long time. Sohyang is a gift from God and a symbol of inspiration, who has this ability to communicate her emotions and get to your soul when she is sings, better than any other artist I know. I have watched all your reactions to Sohyang many times over and loved them. She has so many wonderful performances in 2020, especially from the show Begin-again Korea, and I hope to see you react to some of them on your channel. Wish you health and happiness.

I still remember the first time I saw her. I still get touched in that special place by Sohyang. She has published 2 Religious books since 2018. The latest this year about the 7 Biblical Churches of Marantha in Turkey.
