I'm not trained but naturally have a lower voice and sang really low as a kid bcus it was really fun, so now that I'm expanding my overall singing span I can still comfortably transition. It's all about practice.

I was taught that practicing some of ur comfortable low notes helps with hitting higher notes because it helps create this expansion and sort of easy feeling you feel whilst singing lower notes and transfer it towards higher notes, helping sound less strainy and more open.

@@vixelkee4636 this is true, as it's still diaphragm control practice. anything that exercises the chest and throat healthily will benefit both high and low, although starting low does work as a sort of foundation. Or at least it did for me, as a deeper-voiced girl.

That is one thing I always wished I could figure out. My daughter can do it and I don't understand how anybody does that. Ironically, I can whistle but she cannot. Lol.

@@kf10126 Despite not being recommended, another way to be able to sing whistle notes is by just opening your mouth like half-way, then pushing air out of your throat, and while breathing out heavily, but slowly, sort of flexing your throat muscles. It's quite hard to explain and idk if it'll work, but it worked for me.

Our ranges are pretty close lol! I can go from E/F2-E5

Close to me C2 to B5 ( whistle notes on 6th and 7th octaves also )

My lowest reached chest note is like G1 but lowest chest note is A1/Bb1 (im not sure what note)

A2-A3 is One octave A2-A4 are two octaves A3-A5 are three octaves

@@user-sg9bg7tc6u If you can go as Low as her and high till whistle register you may be above 3 octaves to Up but it depends of the Top of your range in that whistle register. If you can sing till A6 as example then you got one octave more than 3 in your range which would be 4 octaves.

Try practice singing high again dont listen to anyone practice at least 3-4 days a week

vocal chords and muscles are what make you sing, if you create an habit your muscles will be used to those movements, you just gotta train them back, think of them like arm muscles, you have to train them

She’s a fully developed soprano. That’s how they’re supposed to sound.

I think she might be a mezzo soprano. Mezzos can hit some amazing notes too.

Exercise!!! Use other technique mix voice

You’re supporting your lower register you just now have to learn how to carry that support into your upper registers.

@@Hyxnjxn well actually it wasn't super high to begin with just that now I can't sing as high. I also have vocal paralysis so that's part of the reason I stuck to singing lower. But I've been trying to find ways to sing more comfortably

I'll bet you can get it back. Give your voice a break as many times as it asks you to break, and be willing to catch it when it's working, even if only a little. Play with it. Keep confidence, KEEP IT. Focus on weak head voice for weeks. Then focus on adding a little volume until you can do it with less feeling of force (please note, high notes will always come with some feeling, no matter what people say... if a note is in what's high for you as an adult, not a child, it will always come with a feeling). Next, start playing with mixed voice. Then work on pushing up your chest just a little. Whatever you do, so you don't fight progress, do NOT ADD WHISTLE REGISTER. When I tried adding whistle register, I swear it started undoing my muscle memory for the rest of my voice.
