They were truly playing, they did not practiced before, they just went for it, that is why Rosé did not know the lyrics. For me, this makes it even more impressive

@@kesangsherpa7065 if you watched the show, the performance was impromptu which is why she didn't know. They talked about the parts before they started singing.

@@kesangsherpa7065 They only gave out the parts right before they sing. It's an impromptu. That's why you can see that Onew is doubting to harmonize. But they did great.

What is amazing is that Lee Suhyun, who kicks this off so well, doesn't speak English totally fluently, yet nails it effortlessly... Music is the universal language...

Alot of YG singers that can't speak English well sounds well when singing it...like Yedam, Jeongwoo,Junkyu

@@fatheematomobolajishofunde1524 It's because when you are a trainee in YG they practice western or English songs more than Korean. That's why the groups are usually more or less fluent in English or can understand it. Edit: Even though AKMU weren't really trainees, mostly all staff in YG have some basic language of English. When they go for language classes, they have to take Japanese and either English or Chinese. This is usually the case for any company that has the money for classes.

The one I love about this performance is Suhyun didn't out sing at the beginning. She know direction of song and their cover structure. Although she can easily out sing, she didn't chose compete over compete type. She just set up for the duetmates, spice on the song and give us elegant quality cover. This girl know what she's doing!!

@@nancyprzmrtz4398 I'm big fan of AKMU and I like her voice the most. The reason I can't get enough is she has skills,talents and everything but she doesn't have that passion like her brother's. I hope she'll get back onfire passion for music asap... she's too precious!

People hate her? Really? I have never seen or heard of people hating her. She's the sweetest.

@@anachu1294 They hate on her voice. People say its nascally and squeaky like a chipmunk. Its mostly because BP songs are high on the pitch scale. But she has a bright voice so when she sings in high tone they think she is bad. Hope this explains.

@@anachu1294 Funny how I always find Rosé haters, they hate on her voice, her body, her personality and even her being "TOO" close with Lisa or Jennie. Honestly I never know why people hate her, they always have to find the smallest mistake to potentially ruin her reputation. It's most likely jealousy. She is the sweetest, and I love everything about her, her voice is absolutely gorgeous.

@@multitay6889 Uhh, this is because in Without Me she sings in a deep voice quite naturally and so people thought her voice now is a fake voice. Note that she sang that in her predebut days.

Please check "lucky" by Rose and Onew in Sea of hope too. It's beautiful. And If you can "Selene6.23" by onew and sunwoojunga, Sea of hope became Sea of tears, really really beautiful and incredible vocals.

Loved the way these 3 unique vocalists harmonized so well. Each having a different vocal tone and style Rosé with her unique vocal twang and pop voice and ofcourse her high notes, Suhyun with her honey like sweet and soft and simple vocals and control. Onew with his beautiful vocal range and mannerisms. Loved this so much

Look up Lee Suhyun songs. She's released a solo but she is part of the duo 'Akmu'. She has a great voice and they've released an album about a month ago!

This show (Sea of Hope) has given us some amazing performances. My favourite which you should definitely check out is Onew and Sunwoojunga singing Selene 6.23 by Shinee (written by Jonghyun). It was a phenomenal performance and very emotional, especially for Onew 🥺🤍

omg same, i am an Army but Onew has a special place in my heart even tho i just discover shinee recently for his vocal abilities. i love both group, but vocal wise, i do prefer shinee's while song wise is bts's. not comparing anyone, just stating my preference. peace
