Yay. This was my request. I love Andy’s voice and the way he can switch styles. He has a lot more vocal live performances. If you want a very pure live performance with all clean vocals check out his band “Makari” and the song phantom live in a bar.

I just recently discovered Andy. Maybe in the past 2 years. I have to say he is one of the best vocalists out there. He covers everything from pop punk to metal, metal core, hardcore, deathcore. And it's flawless. And he also works his butt off. I think he's in three bands, and he streams on twitch where he takes song requests and sings live on twitch.

This was a great video. I loved what you shared around everyone's unique resonance, and your obvious enthusiasm for the baddest metal singer on the planet. Andy is in a league of his own. I have been singing for 20+ years and hadn't heard anyone talk about the idea of finding your particular vowel shape and soft palette position. It intuitively makes a lot of sense.

My man also has a big mouth. I have a small mouth and I have to do jaw streches daily just to get the double finger length. XD Low-key jealous of his mouth size and shape. Haha. But, doing low vocals is very easy for me. This was a great reaction. Always love learning from you, The Charasmatic Voice, Mark from Kardavox, ect. Keep up the great reactions and insightful commentary!

Hi Beth! About 3 years ago you reacted to a song called "Garden in the Bones" by my favorite band, Periphery. You praised his technique and his vocal range a lot. They came out with a new album recently, and the song "Wax Wings" is one of the best vocal performances I have heard from a metal band. I would love if you would give that song a listen :)

Ok, you absolutely HAVE to listen to Andy's one take performance of Deadnest. It is my favorite single that Monuments has come out with (they released it soon before this album, if I remember correctly) and Andy just does such a good job. The vocal part of Deadnest is at least as absurd, if not more, than Cardinal Red.

Your channel is a breath of fresh air when compared to the other vocal analysis channels. I won't state names, but the rest of them spend too much time pausing, rewinding, pausing, rewinding... that sometimes I wonder if they will ever make it through the song. The flow of the song gets lost as well. I get that they are trying to analyze and teach, but I think the balance you have struck is perfect. Well done!
