But in response: U2 letting her sing one of their songs on AGT is what happens on most talent shows, plus AGT exposure is in U2's best interests, let's see if they invite her into the Las Vegas sphere now that nobody is talking about her. Highly doubt it. The David Foster clip is apparently from August 2023 which is whilst the show was on air, so you've just proven my point again there, he was using her for clout whilst the show was on and let's see if he'll do it again in 12 months time. That's not selling records to the public, and it was only 1 month after the show ended. Again, in 12 months if she's getting public appearance invites then fair play. But it probably won't, it'll release without any fanfair because she's missed her moment, she's already a forgotten talent show star and will be even more so when the next season starts, and any music she releases will appear then vanish like a fart in the wind. Put it this way, Putri currently has 3.7m monthly listeners on Spotify. That sounds a lot? Well Mura Masa has 4.3m listeners... who the hell is Mura Masa tho? Exactly... there are 1 hit wonder bands from the 90s who have magnitudes more listeners, that is 100% how you gauge someones popularity these days and she isn't popular, as much as you clearly love her which is cool and all. Look, it might sound like I hate her but genuinely I have nothing against her at all. I think she's a boring performer but that's not hate, I'm just supremely confident that she'll be either working a desk job in a few years or doing corporate gigs or weddings. There's only a handful of acts who've made it big after a talent show, 20+ years of them, and she won't be one of them. I sing as a hobby, in my spare time, but if your logic is that someone is not allowed to criticise another person unless they've achieved more than them, then you're gonna have a bad time in life cos that's not how it works. Since AGT, the public have completely lost interest in her... because she's boring. Just like every single other contestent, she had her moment and it's passed. There's a few youtube reacters using her videos for content still, but they'll stop in a matter of weeks. It was a lovely story, but nobody cares any more. Great that you do, but the public don't. Go look at her official KZfaq channel which date stamps everything. At the end of AGT she had a really popular video because that's how exposure and trends work, but since then, she's getting less views on her content almost any average youtuber. There's niche bedroom comic book reviewers who get more interest than she does now the show has ended. You can use your feelings to fight my facts but that's not how it works. Not a fact... but in 2 years time I predict she'll be doing musical theatre at best, because she's a phenomenal vocalist but boring AF. The only people to have ever had a successful career spawned off from a talent show had something about them which she doesn't have. Come back in a year or two and tell me I was wrong.
