The BTS 2015 HYYH Concert was in Seoul, Korea and then they performed the same concert in several cities in Japan as well. One of the reasons Koreans have good voices possibly is because singing I believe has been a release for them from such oppression as well as a very repressive society and government in the past as well in history when they suffered such hardships singing was a way of venting pent up emotions and a release for them. They work so extremely hard to make ends meet even having to work on weekends without extra pay and if they refuse no problem they will just lose their job, same can be said for the younger generation who are not only expected to go to school but then it is really required to go to very costly tutoring programs that their parents can't afford that end very late then go home and study more so going to karaoke afterwards and singing definitely helps get rid of their frustration. Also there are so many singing shows of all kind on Korean tv. There is even one that is so famous that anyone can go to and enter. It is beyond famous and has been around for decades. Even some Kpop idols have gone on it before they were known. Speaking of which most singers especially Kpop idols have to go through a trainee period usually for at least 2 years maybe more. Many times they are even signed by the age of 12 -13 like Jungkook was from BTS ( unlike the other 3 vocalists who did not have as much training. Jimin for instance was a trainee for only less than a year and his background was as a dancer with no vocal experience whatsoever (he was the one who did the high notes and sings with head voice). (Jin also had no vocal background but no dance background as well.) The coaches work on breathing techniques more than anything since idols are expected to dance as well as sing all at the same time. The sad thing is they're only signed a 7 year contract usually to allow for the fact that they will have to go to the military before age 30. Also they are very into those high notes and expect them at all costs. I believe that sadly some of these other entertainment companies overwork their artist "idols" with no concern about the strain or damage that might be put on their vocal cords. A comeback after military can be quite hard to do. Many artists are discarded after their contract is up and military is over after almost 2 year stint. BTS's company BigHit Entertainment does things totally different and work hand in hand with BTS as one big family. Unlike most other companies BTS are allowed to write, produce and be involved in many other aspects of their career. Also amazingly they started as a hip hop and mainly rap group so that is another reason some of their vocal line did not have those years of training. Which makes it all the more amazing how incredibly good they are now which just gives credit to the extreme 12 -15 hour days in the beginning to get to where they are now!

In KPop, groups usually design and release a light stick as part of their official merchandise. People going to concerts will either purchase the light stick ahead of time or at the concert. The BTS fan-base is called "Army", so their lightstick is called an "Army Bomb" (it's shaped like a bomb). You can google it to see what it looks like. The Army Bomb is pretty sophisticated. At a concert, BTS can actually remotely control the color of all the bombs in the venue via Bluetooth, to change all the bombs to a certain color, or make a rainbow in the stadium, or even spell out a word.

I LIKED BEFORE I WATCHED. I really like your comments and analysis.. Actually, some people said that BTS’s vocal line ( Jin, Jimin, V, Jungkook) is weak compared to the rap line (RM, Suga, Jhope). They’ve improved so much and I’m so proud of that. Jimin (the one who does high adlib) is actually quite conscious about his voice. There was a time when his voice cracked, he blamed himself a lot. I wish he could see how rare men who can reach that high of a note. Jungkook has always been the main vocal. His voice is very versatile, good for voicing and blending. V and Jin as well. I love their voices, they have unique textures that can blend well together.

About your question related to the lightsticks: in K-Pop, every artist/group has their official lightsticks which have colours specific to the artist/group. Since BTS's fans are called ARMY, their lightsticks are called ARMY Bombs.

Please check out - BTS Best Live Vocals - You will get to hear some of the best vocals from BTS mainly the vocalists. Since there are many clips from their older more R&B type songs (many of my favorites) it will feature a bit more of their Main Vocalist Jungkook as well as the Lead Vocalist Jimin who was the one with the reddish hair with the head voice and who sang those high notes toward the end who you commented on.This is the reason I suggested this but it does definitely show newer clips with more vocals of both Jin and Tae, the other vocalists as well. Since everyone has improved so much more now they both have bigger parts to sing now but in the beginning Jungkook with his falsetto and JIMIN with his head voice were in charge of singing all those high notes. Hey, I really like your reaction videos! For your information, the lyrics for "Hold Me Tight" was written by V (one of the members/ actually the one on the right :D). Also the "glowing balls" (I was cracking up when you asked that xD) area Army Bombs which fans buy themselves and bring to the concerts. But not only BTS fans have them, there are for example the lightstick for the group BLACKPINK is a pink hammer, so many kpop groups have something for their fans. Unfortunately, I don't know where the concert took place but it was one of their HYYH (HwaYangYeonHwa/eng. The Most Beautiful Moment in Life, Part 2 ) Konzert. Yeah they had so many live Performances and almost everyone one ist amazing. The Tour "Wingst" was Last year and they worked so hard and lerned so much their Life ist Music and you can hear in each Song. Now they will have a Comeback on August the 24th be prepared

FYI: I'm not sure where this concert is, but they perform all over the world. They have 5 sold-out concerts in the United States this year (plus they were just booked into Citi Stadium in NYC and tickets go on sale..today! I expect that will be sold out as well. I believe it holds 40,000 people.) Since you liked Jimin's high note, I again urge you to check out Jin's "Awake". That song will bring you to tears. The only song that nearly knocked it out of it's #1 spot was "Sea"....it was a hidden song on their 2017 album Love Yourself: Her. That entire album is gold but honestly, so is every album they've ever made. They're selling out ARENA and stadium concerts in the US. Tour starts soon. All tickets sold out within minutes. And no. I really recommend checking out born singer, they sampled jcole’s born sinner and the lyrics and performance is so emotional. This is also one of their earlier performances, they really improved a lot during the span of 5 years. I would really recommend checking out their older songs and then progressing to their newer performances in order to get a feel of how much they improved in their technics and also their delivery of emotion while performing.
