The agency -JYP ent really knew what they're doing when grouping these two together. The contrast between their voice turned out to be the unique sound. Heawon light tone , bright and more airy and Lily more powerful, a little bit darker tone.

It's interesting how in duets with lily, haewon takes on an approach to darken her tone, because in her solo covers she makes her voice appear more breathy and lighter, choosing to showcase her agility and versatility, it will be interesting to see the dynamic the 7 member's will have when performing together.

Haewon (the one in black) studied English, and Lily (the one in white) is Korean-Australian

Lily is Australian-Korean and Haewon can speak English since she was in elementary school but all trainees have monthly evaluation where in they cover English songs 😊

I would also highly recommend checking out Haewon's My Universe cover and Lily's Finesse cover because you can hear more of their singing in it. Another personal favourite of mine is Bae's cover of Break Your Heart. The group consists of 7 members. Lily, Haewon, Bae, Jinni, Jiwoo, Kyujin and Sullyoon. They'll be debuting on 22nd February 😊

There dynamics are amazing and I live their contrasting vocal timbre . Like ice and hot lava I don't know if they are the best technical vocalist but they are definitely the most pleasant vocalist to hear in 4th gen
