The lyrics are about having her baby in her womb and her expectation of wanting to meet her, the waiting and fears any new mother feels. Also her voice has always been this graspy and smoky since she started singing

It’s her natural voice just like her Dad. Her Dad was a famous singer and actor from the 60’s. He used to sing Rock in Spanish. Alejandra has the same style than her Dad.
