I am Rebecca and I am one heck of a passionate vocal coach/singer/songwriter/impressionist/health/fitness/self- improvement/anything that makes me smile!! I love anything vocal/singing related and geek out on it every day. I want to motivate and inspire others to follow their dreams…corny? Well maybe but it’s true. So what’s motivating me?? I had a huge tumour removed summer 2017 and my ovaries and fallopian tubes. The tumour was the size of a 20 week baby!! However, despite not being able to walk for a couple of weeks, and feeling generally awful…. It has made me create and do what I love! It wasn’t an easy time but I won’t let fear dictate my life. I didn’t think ‘why me’, there are plenty of horrific issues people have to deal with…it’s not always smooth sailing. It’s true when you hear, ‘Life is short’, the crazy thing is, I am glad it happened…I appreciate life even more and practice gratitude everyday…It’s so easy to get caught up with the little things…and I do sometimes, but look at the bigger picture, will it matter in a year or two…?

orlock20 i just listened to and the notes are not outside of arianas range in any way at all, ariana could definely cover the song in its original key. it reminded me of miley as well, she could probably do just fine too. idk ab lana, bc i don’t know her range and she seems to have a soft voice but a good one nonetheless

Lana is a great writer. She isn't for me, but she is great at what she does. Her lines are about twerking. I think everyone is being blinded because it's Lana. Her lyrics are the worst in the song and don't fit at all.

@@grandeioze1007 I don't have an issue with Ariana Grande. She's incredible. But it's not just her song. It's a collaboration between three artists and all three are credited equally. No one is just featured. Lana is also credited as one of the song's writers so it's safe to say it's her song too.

If she had sang the whole song by her self without asking Miley and Lana to collaborate it would have been even more great. if Lana does a cover by herself that would ruin the song. her part was the part I liked least. alienating and she's just whispering.. anyone can do that.

The song overall is weak indeed. Miley and Lana should have done more, it was basically Ariana featuring the other two, which is not what I expected or wanted. It kinda felt like three songs and three styles in one, however Ari's vibe reigned supreme which is quite upsetting. I wanted an equal show of each vocalist.

I actually really loved the chord progression in the chorus, and definitely loved it in the bridge... especially with Lana's smooth vocals for the melody... and Ariana's whistle tones. And I think people could do amazing and mesmerizing things musically with this song (in terms of covers). But I agree that as a whole it's an "okay" song... still visually stunning. And there's no doubt that all 3 ladies have very distinct and different vocal styles... I think given that fact, they did well with the arrangement.

The breathy part when they sing "Angel" it's from all of them, I saw in another video where decompose the three voices from the chorus, the Ariana's voice resonate more than the others but the deep breathy voice there is from Lana.

I think the one that didn't stand out is Lana in my opinion, she was not given enough time.

I honestly think how people enjoy this song is so polarizing because of how massively different all three women and their styles are-just like SUCH vastly different artists. So depending on who you are more a fan of-and which style you prefer-will affect how you like the song. Some people forgot Miley was in the song-but to others, that was the best part. Same with Lana’s. Since I love all three, I love this song because I think it’s such a unique hodgepodge of styles and voices. Idk, I adore this song and can’t stop playing it.
