Thank you for your time and comments for Diana. Performed on a river cruise ship, I can not imagine what it would be like being in an small intimate setting for this performance. Her talent is undeniable, she's what, maybe 15 years old here....... I ask you, what changes are comming for Diana's voice and physiology in the next 5-10-15 years? Will it deepen more, a tone or two? Become more rounded sound or tone? At 17 yrs old her range has expanded higher and lower from working with a voice coach, already in the first year at university. How good is she going to be?

not really. this is live, less equipment and this was as good or better. but the talent show had a wonderful set and kinetic space.

Yes you need to react to the "You Are Super!" versions too, all those shows are "live" and do not allow lipsynch ever. Plus the stage productions are stunning for Diana's performances. You can also find some YT channels that have done 'vocal isolation' which can be a little weird but can hear her techniques very clear.

I respect your choice of choosing this video, but her absolute best singing and acting performance was when she was 14 yrs old doing this for the first time on that show she did Wicked Games, the background, the added people being spirits, the dock and boat she gets placed in at the end of the song after being picked up did not skip a beat while singing those last 4 or 5 yodels she does at the end. You and everyone who has not seen it will want to see it to get an idea behind what the song is about. React to “Into the Skies” please. There is only one live version of this and is sung live at the end of the talent show You are Super.🙏🏼🌹

Yes, I was disappointed in your choice of video. But this is still good enough to appreciate Diana’s voice. Still, the one on the contest is such an epic and memorable show it’s a shame to think somebody hasn’t experienced that.

Greetings from Scotland! You are correct - NO OTHER singer has the vocal talent that Diana has! She can sing in any language and any song but the audience still understand what she's singing about! Her control over her larynx is unique and her interpretation of a songs lyrics is beyond amazing. Great reaction serene! Привет из Шотландии! It is a great song for Diana. A popular Russian song. Also I recommend you to react to Angelina Jordan. She is 15 years old and she is a musical genius. She won NGT contest at 8 years old singing classic Jazz songs (Gloomy Sunday, I'm a fool to want you, Bang Bang and Summertime). At 9 years old she made an astonishing version of I put a spell on you (black and white video) as a tribute to the author Screamin' Jay Hawkins. At 13 years old she sang Bohemian Rhapsody in AGT The Champions and mesmerized everyone, also Queen the band praised her version of the song. She released 5 originals: What is life, Oslo and Shield at 11-12 years old; Millions Miles and 7th Heaven at 14-15 years old). She has a unique approach of the songs with giving a new air to Jazz style with her raspy and flexible voice, her arrangements and the emotion she transmits to the audience.

From TI SUPER its also live ,, one big difference its that for these show NTV have professional team who prepare her for 2-3 week for one song per appearance so rehearsal and repetition bring you to perfect singing of 1 song . I think that even she say in some interviews that recenka and Wicked Games performed in her arrangement are very demanding, so that she don't sing in concert to much. (its these make sense?) От TI SUPER это тоже живое, одно большое отличие состоит в том, что для этого шоу у НТВ есть профессиональная команда, которая готовит ее в течение 2-3 недель для одной песни за выступление, поэтому репетиции и повторения приведут вас к идеальному исполнению одной песни. Я думаю, что даже она в некоторых интервью говорит, что Recenka и Wicked Games в ее аранжировке очень требовательны, поэтому она мало поет на концертах. (это имеет смысл?)

Yes, the comments are right, the version from "You Are Super" is better. Not only because of the production of the show (mise-en-scene) but first is the quality of the recording (especially the sound). Here seems to be a fan camera that isn't capable to catch all the sounds. For this reason the song sound a little bit weird for those people familiar with the other version. Please check Rechenka from You Are Super, at least for your culture.

Thanks for reacting to this. I urge you to watch her performance of this on You Are Super, the show where most reactors experience this from. Even if you don't react to it, I think you would appreciate the superior sound quality, performance, and staging in that. Diana is great wherever she performs, from what I have seen. Unfortunately, the sound quality of this recording, in particular, really doesn't do this one justice. Though, I can understand why you would want to watch a performance where you can really focus on her, rather than the slick production for part of it.

Actually, "реченька" in this context is not "little river", it's more like "river dearest" (a girl addresses this river as her spiritual guide).

Diana never recorded this song in the studio, so all the performance of this song by Diana is live. You have chosen for the reaction not the best performance, at the competition "You are Super" better performance of this song (in my opinion)

Beautiful rendition - I'd only seen the competition version from when DA was 14 or 15. Very enjoyable, enhanced by your reaction and analysis. If you have the stomach for some progressive metal, try Jinjer's "Pisces" (the traditional first track for reaction) or "I Speak Astronomy" for a bit more variation in vocal technique. Jinjer is a fabulously talented foursome and the vocalist has a good range of techniques at her disposal. This band made a big impact on my musical tastes.

While I love this rendition of this song, I actually think that her voice is so big and powerful and strong that she is at her best on a BIG stage and auditorium. She easily overpowers a small stage and I suspect that she holds back a little. P.S. The position of the microphone here wasn't ideal (not Diana's microphone, but the one used to make this recording), creating an echo/reverb effect that distracted me a bit.

I guess we Parker's should watch out for each other. Serene, I have to ask, do you speak/understand Russian? I know a few words, but I absolutely get lost, listening to a native speaker. I used to work with a man, ages ago, who had his PhD, but was having to wait for it to be verified, with the University in Moscow. He taught me some, but if you don't use it... Diana competed on Yodel Time when she was much younger. I think around 11 or 12, but didn't win because she only yodeled... stupid. The performance is on KZfaq, or was. Keep up the great reactions. Just curious, why this performance. WhenI do a search for this song, the first result on KZfaq is the professionally shot one with 13 million views and this one is clearly not pro & only has 1 thousand views, so why choose this one?
