And you might want to read a little about her tragic younger years as an orphan abandoned and tossed into a garbage can unable speak for years after she was up for adoption by her birth mother at age 3. I love her voice so much! I sound a tad like her, purely because I am a contralto like she is, but I have nowhere near the amount of skill she does. Her voice reminds me a lot of Cher.

If there were cartoon notes coming out hers would be three dimensional. Big full hefty notes of solid color that just grab you. Her sound has a captivating physicality to it, its so alive.

Great reaction, first time ever someone reacting to a singer that actually know what they are talking about with the underlying harmonic structure of the voice. I heard an operatic contralto once well in the 70's when I was singing in Germany and Holland. Her last name was Bugg and I think her first name was Clare maybe, its been a long time but she could change resonating spaces and patterns kinda like Diana and fast dang she could change fast. The point is that of the ten thousand or so singers that I have heard over 60+ year its the only other one that I can think of that had that sound.
