He wasn't doing much and they were overreacting, but that's most likely because he has somewhat of a cult following from young girls, and that's for a few reasons, of course, mostly a simple mixture of biology and the current state of culture (and he's literally the greatest popular singer in the entire world, men and women love that kind of talent/power in a man, naturally). But, they are the types to kill themselves if Dimash died (like the extreme girls that killed themselves when The Beatles died). Not healthy and indicates real mental/emotional issues with the girls, though not completely their own fault, of course. He is a 'real man', or that's how it seems, so men want to be him and women want him (good husband/father ideal. Good-looking/good genetics, extremely talented, and powerful). Simple biology as I stated. But, that's a good thing if it's in check and guides you forward, but not a good thing if it becomes a cult. Lack of real men in their lives would be a cultural factor, though even Dimash isn't really a classical man given how feminine he is, it's complex, for a few reasons that I won't bother with now.

@@TheClassicWorld In fact, you don't have to do much, it is known that brilliant things are simple! Maybe that's how people love a non-value like Justin Bieber overnight, but they can't easily stand a singer like Dimash Kudaibergen! All the great bands and all the great singers had fans, a certain part of them became fanatics, all these artists brought something new without everyone bringing something revolutionary for music! I think Dimash Kudaibergen is one of those who will revolutionize music! It is a personal opinion, no one has to accept it now, only the future will confirm or refute my statement! Contrary to your ideas, I would just like to point out that there are many more beautiful singers, better dancers, better dressed, who sing more commercial songs and who still have no success comparable to Dimash's! That we appreciate a singer with 25,000,000 fans and we want to ignore one with 600,000,000 just because most of them are from China seems to me a very big error of judgment, especially since among the 7 wonders of the world there is one made by them , and among the modern ones the first are the ones in China (for example the highway that connects China and Pakistan)! Canta como un ángel , pero nació con ese timbre de voz , color de voz , eso se nace no se estudia , tiene mil dodnes sobrenatural ,son sus varios registros que canta , que se va descubriendo con estudio perseverancia ,se sabe a que registros y tonos puedo llegar fácil sin esfuerzos cómodo , bueno Dimahs , descubrió eso con ser profesor de canto vocalista toca varios instrumentos canta en 12 idiomas , soy psicóloga y veo lo que comentan relacionan mal , pues no saben que una persona cuando nace así con ese color de voz y la perseverancia es responsabilidad ,para estudiar ,cuidarse ,mostrar todos sus rangos vocales , humildad ya que tiene su propio profesor de canto vocalista hijo de padres cantante de opera , viene de cuna y sabe aprovechar todo eso sobrenatural que un supremo solo puede dar , ahora su respeto al público dominio del aire micrófono escenario cantautor director vestuarios coros orquestas pues no tiene una ,se logra de familia que ya viene trazando un camino y Dimahs sigue ese camino con práctica dominio , luz valor a lo que interpreta , son muy bello sus interpretaciones amor calidez dulzura voz aterciopelada como un ángel , sus rangos vocales es tenor contra tenor , vocalista soprano lírico femenino y masculino mezzosoprano barítono , puede fácil cantar un pop por lo que tiene miles de registros de tenor lírico graves fuerza buen manejo del aire ,muy bien plantado , consciente de lo que hace y puede fácil sin despeinarse , Si no escuchaste a Andrea Bocelli lo que dijo y es fans de Dimahs , no hablemos de calidad de este cantautor director de sus vídeos y de su película que ya sale , joven y dejará de cantar , pues se va a dedicar , a producción y director , cuando van , o tu vas , Dimahs ya volvió hace rato ,por él recorrido de todos sus registros , hija no hables nada pues lamento tarde llegaste , si no te gusta no escuches y si te gusta escucha y deja escuchar , da tu triste reacción al final , este vídeo es cuando participaba Dimahs , hoy es profesor cantautor director mejor cantante de este siglo , que arregla las canciones de los propios autores que no le dieron luz valor respeto a lo que escribían , Dimahs agarró todas en un saco se las puso en él bolsillo , Envidia tiene ese cantante momia de Vitas , porque a ópera 2 Dimahs le puso dos tonos mas alto fuerza , calor onda valor respeto , y al público respeto ,de eso se trata , paras él vídeo para que !!!! Hi, Katriina. You are the first person to mention and, in fact, highlight very specifically, three areas of Dimash's skills. 1. The contrast in his voice and when and where makes those adjustments. 2. The multi-dimentional approach to his performance in order to create and give colour to the different parts of a song. 3. The handling, control and manipulation of the microphone - when he to move it closer or farther away from his mouth. All of the above shows that is well aware of his surroundings and everything or most of what's happening around him at any given time during his performance. He, truly has become a master in vocals and performance. Thank you so much for your comments. Dimash admitted he was sick on this day. He got somewhst cheeky with his audience which he said he wouldn’t have done IF he had known his father was in the audience! He doesn’t discover this pleasant surprise until right after song when his father comes out of the shadows to say hello. Very sweet.

This was Episode 2 of the Singer, right after "S.O.S." The camera editing sometimes makes it look like he was interacting with the other competitors, like Sandy Lam near the beginning; but they are watching him on a screen from backstage. The man who gave a fist pump at the end was his father, who unknown to Dimash had arrived to give him support. There is a longer video of this where Dimash sees his father in the audience afterwards, and as they walk down the hall afterwards, Dimash asks if he did OK.

@@Katriinka If you haven't seen it, you should go on Y.Tube and find "Dimash - Dearest Mother" (every time I try to give people links lately, the comment goes to spam). This is a song where Dimash sings with his parents. One reactor said it was like hearing Dimash's chest voice and head voice singing together. This song was written by his father for Dimash's grandmother, who is in the audience.

Dear Katriinka, I think you looked away but the man that did the fist pump at the end of the song is his dad. He went there to surprise Dimash and after they hugged and left the stage Dimash actually asked his dad if he did good. You mentioned Vitas so did you catch that Dimash went 2 levels higher? And Vitas representatives told Dimash they would sue if he ever sang this song again so this is the only video. You & your back remain forever in my thoughts & prayers. 🎶👱‍♀️👗👠👠💓🙏🙏

i thought you may be interested in seeing the following two videos...i was obsessed with finding out how many times dimash had performed this song, & i managed to find two other instances so far! the first seems to be a possible alternate version of the singer performance (...?), & is really good... he may have even modulated more than in this famous performance, but at the very least as high as this one, with the staccato notes on the very last one! it's worth a view for sure! kzfaq.info/get/bejne/r9R8o9OozL7YlYE.html the other one appears to be from some sort of kazakh TV program, & they have dimash sing a song, but with their own lyrics substituted. they of course pick opera 2, & it's quite funny & it looks like dimash had a fun time. even though it's much more casual & not the exact same song, the classic ending is still there & he adds an amazing quick run somehow on the last modulation! kzfaq.info/get/bejne/pbiogqyc37Ctmas.html hope you check them out & enjoy! ♥️

That really bothers me. Vitas did well, shouldn't he be honored that someone else wants to perform his songs? Not like there's a long line of people that could do them justice, Vitas songs are really hard. Then this new kid shows up, is a big enough fan to do his best and give his all to do your song as best as he can, and your response is to sue him? I still like the Vitas songs and the fact he collabed with Timmy Trumpet but I've lost a good chunk of respect for Vitas after doing that. Not like Dimash is claiming he wrote the song..

Vitas got so mad at Dimash for "showing him up" by going higher than him that he complained about his performance and out of respect Dimash has never sang this song again publicly, that makes me sad I like them both for different reasons and I really would like to hear Dimash with his current abilities sing it again.

I knew about the legal issues, but thought it was simply because it is his original song and he just didnt want anyone else to cash money off of it, this is an interesting other point of view. best wishes Steve! :)

here are two other times dimash has performed opera #2 that i've been able to find after a decent search a while back; i hope there are more! one is serious, possibly an alternate version for the singer? if not, a very similar show. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/r9R8o9OozL7YlYE.html then a version from a kazakh TV show, where the hosts substitute their own lyrics for the song the guest sings (dimash, & opera #2 in this case), & it's quite funny & very entertaining. while it's definitely much less serious of a performance, the classic ending is still present, & he even managed to add a quick run on the end of the last modulation! dimash is truly epic, haha. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/pbiogqyc37Ctmas.html

THANKS for your reactions to Dimash!!!!......“Opera2” is a Russian song. Vitas is the original singer and modulation once. Dimash effortlessly took it higher modulating an amazing three key changes, C6, C#6, D6(stacatto), Eb6. Currently his range is 7 octaves......from E1 to D8 ......Dimash is the best voice in the world!...greetings from a Mexican Dear!....❤️🇲🇽👏🏻🥰🇰🇿

Listening to your love of all types of music from all over the world and how much you appreciate the musicians I really wish that somehow music could bring the world together. Kat, we love you and your reactions. Thank you from a Dear. Dimash has an economy of motion that is not unlike a ballet dancer. Yes Dimash has the passion in his voice that makes adults, children and toddlerss cry. Having seen all this, pay attention to the way he uses his mouth as he sings. Also his posture and his stance. Dimash carefully uses his entire body purposely and beautifully and is a joy to watch and hear. I feel blest to be alive to witness this young gentleman ‘s Humble nature and love for his family. He is the best voice in the world and I believe he is closely related to t the angels.

I am not sure what you refer to. My job is to teach people how to sing. Literally. My dramaturgy and theory of music would more of cover the knowledge of industry, but again, you cannot know all, especially if they are from genre you do not focus on and work with. Exploring them is time consuming and I consider myself lucky I get to do that on my KZfaq channel. And also, I knew Dimash from previous reaction, I though it was obvious from the video.

Hi Katriinka. Great to have you back! Apart from doing more Dimash could you do some reactions to Lara Fabian. She is my other favourite singer! She is amazing and i think one of the best singers in the world. Je Suis Malade, You're not from here, Broken Vow, Caruso and Adagio are just some of her best songs. They are all incredible! Love your reactions and love your coments, please, please, please, react to My favorite Dimash's song "samal tau" which he performed live stream for the Tokio jazz festival this 2020. It is a folk Kasaj song and I love it, hope You like it to. It speaks about one young man that was drafted by the rusian Zar, to fight in WW1 and how he longed for his homeland. Katrina Dimash is not "boring" he is very respectful, has a high regard for a moral compass and quite demure. Although very young, Dimash has stretched beyond his years in manners and etiquette.
