ABOUT…
I am Rebecca and I am one heck of a passionate vocal coach/singer/songwriter/impressionist/health/fitness/self- improvement/anything that makes me smile!! I love anything vocal/singing related and geek out on it every day. I want to motivate and inspire others to follow their dreams…corny? Well maybe but it’s true. So what’s motivating me?? I had a huge tumour removed summer 2017 and my ovaries and fallopian tubes. The tumour was the size of a 20 week baby!! However, despite not being able to walk for a couple of weeks, and feeling generally awful…. It has made me create and do what I love! It wasn’t an easy time but I won’t let fear dictate my life. I didn’t think ‘why me’, there are plenty of horrific issues people have to deal with…it’s not always smooth sailing. It’s true when you hear, ‘Life is short’, the crazy thing is, I am glad it happened…I appreciate life even more and practice gratitude everyday…It’s so easy to get caught up with the little things…and I do sometimes, but look at the bigger picture, will it matter in a year or two…?
Also thank you for all your support. It means a lot.
Subscribe to Rebecca Vocal Athlete to get inspired by new videos!
Have a great day!!
Rebecca

Nathan Stanley it really is. I remember hiding my love for this band because of the things people would say to me in high school. I’d wear one of their shirts or bracelets and I was an open target. He deserves the credit he’s getting and I’m happy that he’s getting it. I also know he’s the kind of artist to remember his beginning and appreciate the fans that have been there through it all. I just hate seeing the people who made fun of me for listening to his music now posting it all over their stories and shit. Like you literally went out of your way to torment me over this, but now it’s cool so you like it.

Ronnie has so much control over his voice that it's genuinely unfair. He raps, he sings, he screams, and in many cases he does all of them in the same song. He's a powerhouse of talent with a dark past and I'm just so happy to see him living his life to the fullest. Also he writes all his own lyrics.

Ronnie is an artist. He writes his own songs so lyrically they always have a deep meaning. Especially since he has battled with drug addiction, prison, betrayals and much more. The song "The Drug In Me Is You" is one of their most popular songs. It is upbeat and sounds fun, however if you dive into the lyrics he is singing about repeatedly destroying his life and being unable to stop it. (in my opinion.) This is a remake of that song. The lyrics are the same but its delivered in a different method which makes the emotions of the song feel different. The "Elsa" woman is actually the cover of their first album, so i believe the song and the burning of Elsa is suppose to represent letting go of the past and moving on.

"Elsa" is actually a girl from "The Drug in Me Is You" album cover that FIR released in 2011 and that recently went gold! The Reimagined version of the original song was a thank you gift for longtime fans! Also.. I feel like the lyrics could definitely be about any bad addiction (food, bad relationship etc) but knowing Ronnie's past I assume the drug he was talking about was literally a drug and Elsa was just a nice touch to bring the addiction to life, so the end of the video was symbolically burning the bridge and letting go of it... he's made it, better off without it..?

His voice changed? I don't think so. I'm a diehard fan of Ronnie Radke since early ETF days and he sounds exactly the same. The lyrical content is obviously different from what he was doing but in terms of broading musicianship, he improved and he deserves success. Check out The Day I Left The Womb, his last song with Escape the Fate. It's haunting and has the same chills as this one.
