Hi sam .i loved it when u highlight his vibrato .it's really the best aspect of his vocal strength .smooth and steady .i've seen other cover his song but the control is not like him .though i still voted for ernie , hafiz vibrato is truly special and how i wish to sing like that .

There were 3 vocalists that were shortlisted to win the Best Vocal during the award, Aina Abdul (Sumpah / 'Definite' ) , Erni Zakri (Ku Bersuara / 'I Revealed' -), and Hafiz Suip ( Kisah Cinta Kita / 'Our Love' ). The three had shown a very impressive vocal in their performance. The juries had awarded Hafiz because he had shown a little extra of a very sustained emotion and intonation that brought the same impact of feeling after the break for the short video insert. There were ten professional juries during the award.

Hope this fine u well...good analysis, i bet not everyone can sing live. I always got distracted wth the sound of music at the background, it can be overwhelmed when in a karaoke parlour, the only place where I feel good 🤣 Hope u could also react to Hafiz's another song, a powerful duet with Adira titled 'Takdir Tercipta'.

Again, a question, probably a breathing question. How does a singer prevent that sharp intake of breath? There is just so much you get into your lungs, making a sound seems inevitable. Some of them do that seemingly without me noticing. Today was this sharp intake that bothered me, thus question. 😉

That’s his lovely wife by the way , I can suggest you understand the lyrics first (foreign song + basic understanding) before reacting to any video in the future that shows your professionalism (can google translate,easy & fastest way) from which you can get a real understanding of the song even not 100% , because the song is not only about the technique of singing but also the deep meaning of the lyrics , soul and emotions play an important role ;)

Best vocal is based on a combination of factors, not just technique...erni was technically good but as a whole (soul, technique, range, etc) hafiz was probably more balanced...so as non-singers we probably are not in the position to comment too much...we all have our opinions but the judges know better

He used to be an extremely great singer. This was his performance after a few years of hiatus, due to being sick (if I'm not mistaken), his voice quality has changed. Check his older songs 1. Muara Hati (duet Siti Nurhaliza) 2. Bahagiamu Deritaku 3. Awan Nano Thank you.

Best vocal for song award. Of course the judges take into account the deliverance of the song. You don't understand the lyrics hence you can't felt it. The song was delivered in the most honest way; making people appreciate the melody and lyrics. Ernie was good technically but nobody felt her song. Again, it's SONG CHAMPION AWARD regardless of the category, it's all about the song. How the vocalist delivered the meaning of the song and how the performance portrayed the lyrics.

Yeah sure Ernie deserved 1st but I guess there's some bias because he did won like all the previous time he join AJL. Don't get me wrong, Hafiz is a great singer (I like him more than Ernie as well) but I guess it should've been Ernie as the winner

Hai fanatik ernie zakri sila hadam ni minit ke 10:55 ...org x pekak tau...tgk ada ke dia kata hafiz terkucil dll??korg kalau x pandai musik jgn duk melalak..kena tau shifting,adlibs semua tu..bkn duk tau headvoice jer..mcm pundek plak..aishhh geram aku..nk masuk kelas vocal aku please komen jer aku .nk ajar free jer ni..tiberrrr...hihihi...ti

Assalamualaikum...saya buknla fanatik ernie..tapi saya nk ckp..walaupon dia vocal coach ke ape ke..tapi dia x tau konsep lagu yg hafiz suip tu bwk cmne...so mmg la dia ckp yng hafiz tu x da terkucil..better kot..kalau nk dengr penjelasan tntng terkucil tu rujuk la orng dekat2 sini..dekat malysia ni..rakyat kita pon x pekk la...cuba kalau dia faham konsep ,lirik dan nada yg hafiz bawak tu..komfom dia tahu HAFIZ terkucil..mmg saya minat hafiz..tapi MALAM TU SAYA RASA ERNIE LEBIH LAYAK MNG...TU je

Mmg kene ade semua tu dlm anugerah award vokal..tapi ajai ckp ada kelainan kat hafiz yg mana dia boleh buat feeling yg sama selepas dia stop muzik..bagi saya itu x logik..sebb kita nk cari yg lebih handal dlm vocal masa mnyanyi...so its not about feeling..tapi vocal..kalau nk cerita feeling ernie ada jugk..tgk muka dia msa mnyanyi...ada juri fikir..x kkan nk kene suruh bawak suami dia plk kan supaya bleh mng award vokal..itu x logik..tu je

@@snafitri5635 hahahahah pandai plak vocal coach x tau konsep lagu,lirik semua??tu kena berbalik pada ernie yer..semua hancur..larik teruk dari maksud sebenar lirik dgn cara nyanyian dia mlm tu...at least soul pada nyanyian hafiz masih ada..terkucil tu maybe dari telinga ko je..

@@snafitri5635 wei ko kata handal dlm vokal?ko ingat jerit2 je??penghayatan,arrangement musik,cara susun letak teknik dlm nyanyian dll kena betul..bkn main tibai..awal2 pun ernie ntah apa2 belting lagu tu..dah ok cara dia naik key part awal2 tu tp hujung dia ada plak penambahan "uwooohuuuuuuu.."..situ 1 dah x kena...part dia adlibs "terpedayaaaa haaa" low notes rangkap kedua tu flat,kalau guna teknik tu utk korus awal2 maybe ok lg...musik lagu ni seakan rentak jazz gitu x sesuai langsung dgn emosi nk disampaikan..salah lirik...nk tarik deritaaa 100% bunyi jelas jadik DERIDAAAAAA...byk lg lah...sebenarnya mlm tu lg padu aina,so kalau ernie menang 100% x layak..tu yg hafiz menang..dah rezeki kan..nk melalak apa lg??

amy tie Alah bodoh ni emosi dalam lagu tu lain lain, takkan kau nak suruh syamel buli ernie dekat atas pentas tu baru kau nak dengar soul. padahal vocal coach perempuan si beth tu pun kata ada emotion kau je senak macam bodo

zul hasreen doktor bodoh ni bias , mana yg side ernie dia buat ii buta .. yg mana sikit side pihak dia over kemain .. padahal ornag ni bukan puji pun cuma dia tanak ada sifat membenci je , sbb tu dia tak pilih sape lagi bagus wahai zack sbb dia tak bodoh💁🏻‍♂️ .. dia tau kalau dia ckp benda buruk .. boleh effect dia. Doktor bengap , term medical tak percaya💆🏻‍♂️. Bengap abadi zack💁🏻‍♂️
