This song written by Tamaki Koji wasn't just the main song for the Fuji TV series "Sayonara Lee Xiang Lan", it was actually about His life experience as well. The song is not only the story of life and death but separation from His beloved Girlfriend who was also from Hokkaido, which He later realized after His Fame and she had passed away due to some tragedy when He returned to Hokkaido. The song literally describes His feelings, that is why He understands the song better than anyone else, because it's His story.

I am Japanese. Koji Tamaki is one of the very well-known singers in my country. He is not just a great singer but also a great composer/songwriter. Many other Japanese singers asked him to write songs for them.

I can't disagree anymore!!! I don't understand the language but when my sister played this song I just found myself crying. The emotions came from I don't understand! I feel love at the same time the pain. He's my favourite now!

Japanese art, in all its forms, has the a specific frequency that translates in pure emotion of absolute love with life in all its spectrums… love in hate, hate in love… beauty in ugliness, ugliness in beauty… it always leaves me frozen in place not knowing what to do and in a sense of pure abstract paradoxical emotional state… I don’t know how to put it in words…

His singing of Mugonzaka and Isso Serenade are also wonderful. I think Koji Tamaki is the best singer in Japan. A singer with exceptional vocal volume and emotional expression.

Japanese orkestra is kind a unique,it gives the sence of nostalgia,i mean listen all the anime movie soundtrack, than this come up Aman that can bring his emotion so vividly, tha oain the sorow the pain?? Koji Tamaki is a wonderful emotional vocalist. It leaves behind unforgettable feelings. I suggest you check out another legendary singer - Hyde. L'Arc en Ciel "Kasou" in live acoustic version or "Forbidden Lover" 2008 Trans Asia via Paris or simply "Shallow sleep" from a solo project.
