Nina, you teach by pointing out the singer's skills - instead of picking the artist to death with self-serving criticism. Refreshing and excellent as usual. Now we hear Marcelito singing with his own beautiful voice. We discover that he has power and finesse where he wants to place it, not where his impersonations require it. He has an album in which he displays his personality and unique skills that is most impressive. Can he really sing wonderfully as Marcelito plus sing just like any other singer we want to name? Something to ponder. Cheers.

I get moved like you do in hearing your reactions to his singing. I listened to a lot of reviews of Marcelito singing but I’m touched but what you observe. What he’s able to do is challenging even for a professional singer. I’ve never heard anyone who can sing like he does. This is one person that I will never get tired of hearing. Thanks for sharing with us. I’ve noticed at the end of his singing he usually has a big smile like saying “I nailed it” which he has.

Nina, awesome reaction as always. I saw Marcelito in person in LA recently on his USA tour and you couldn’t be more spot on about Marcelito coming into his own. He interacts with the audience, does duets with his fans and displays a self deprecating sense of humor. You can tell he really appreciates what he now has and one can’t help but feel incredibly good for him. He deserves all good things. What an amazing talent.

This song is perfect for Marcelito's low voice. The pacing of the song is perfect for how he enunciates the lyrics. The only negative comment I have about this rendition is that I would have preferred he had been accompanied by a live orchestra and a gospel choir.

Dear Nina, PLEASE grab a supply of tissues and react to the new re=release of Dimash Qaragym-ai. He did the new one in honor of the composer of the song, who Dimash thought of like a grandfather who died from this virus. Dear Nina, why do you so stubbornly ignore all requests for Diana Ankudinova. Maybe it confuses you that she is Russian (although Diana's father is of Freddie Mercury origin). I've heard so much of Diana Ankudinova to try and like her voice, but I don't ...at all. Sure it's interesting and so on but her "man voice" or whatever we can call it just drops in and out of her performances, it's incoherent and makes no sense in the songs. It also doesn't fit any style of music, maybe metal would work for her but certainly not for pop or "radio music". That's my opinion of Diana, it's not that she's a bad singer ...it's just that it doesn't work.

Just your personal feelings in musical preferences, and they are apparently jazz, i.e. not requiring vocal support. Diana already owned opera vocals for up to 10 years, which is so unique that no one even dreamed of at that age, and what you call a male voice is a low female voice - contralto, and of course not everyone likes this low voice performed by Shakira, Cher, Toni Braxton, but Diana, having such a support, glides on the lowest contralto notes perfectly, it's not for nothing that Diana was called the queen of goosebumps. There are a lot of sopronists and they differ from each other only in face, but Diana, one of the few contralto singers on the stage, is completely unique both in sounding and in her ability to convey any song to the maximum, using her emotions, getting used to the image of a song, Diana lives on the stage.
