It might impress you even more that the song is either the last song or one of the last songs of the encore. And yes the studio version does sound exactly like that. Also the drummer, Tomoya has a channel of him just drumming out the songs.

My favorite song! This was the last concert I went to before covid hit. Who knew the world would take a turn like that soon after. Yeah, Taka is amazing in the way that he keeps his voice stable while running and jumping all over the stage. It's crazy just how good he is. Check out "Mighty Long Fall" at 35xxxv Japan Tour. And if you wanna hear more from their drummer, he has a KZfaq channel called TOMOYA STUDIO where he drums to ONE OK ROCK songs and then explains the key points to drumming them. Though the videos are in Japanese with no subtitles, you may find them interesting. Either way, Tomoya is always fun to watch. Even though he's always at the back of the stage, he has so much charisma.

This is one of my favorite songs, but it doesn't shows Taka's amazing voice. If you want your mind to blow away, you should listen to "Take What You Want JAPAN Dome" and the cover he did for "hello". also "we are - 18 fes" is super emotional.

Since you brought up your love for drumming, i highly recommend checking out "ONE OK ROCK - Taking Off (Tomoya's Drum Ver.) from "Ambitions" JAPAN TOUR 2017" which shows the perspective of their drummer during one of their live performances, he's amazing haha

I felt sorry for music listeners who never heard of ONE OK ROCK even to this day. IMO they're truly missing out one of the best voices/bands in the world.

Amazing group, probably not the song i'd pick for great vocals, its just a great rock song. We Are, Take What You Want, Fight the Night, Wasted Nights, etc all live version are really great for his vocals to show.

I think that "er" you hear when he is in the lower register is just his accent coming through. It goes away when he goes higher because he is using more pressure so you don't notice the accent much.
