Actually, when Adele talks about this song, she says that it is easier for Bruno to seeing in this high key then it is for her. She has a very dark and low voice, kind of a little mad so. Bruno can sing to the stratosphere, even though he has a lot of strain intention because he's not trained, he does have a naturally high voice.

Bruno has incredible range and great vocal ability he wrote the song he sings it in that key. Adele even had trouble with the keys. He wrote the song extra high in his own key. He sings that high and powerful in concert as well and he did it night after night just as powerful.

I’m not a singer at all, just like to go to karaoke with friends sometimes and sing for fun. And I always like to sing this song. But when I do, I turn down 4 keys on the machine every time, and even that I feel it’s really tough when it close to the end. That really makes me first handedly realized how incredibly difficult this song is, especially for men Bruno is just GOAT 🐐, period!

I'm not a singer, but after I watched your reaction video to Morisette Amon (BTW, I'm also from the Philippines) I don't know why, but I became addicted watching your reaction to some singer even to a professional singer. I totally recommend listening to Leroy Sanchez’s cover of Flashlight or Mama Knows Best by Jessie J, or any of his Adele covers. He’s really emotive with his singing. It makes his covers very captivating. And mama knows best is just an incredible showcase of his voice.!!

i think the strain and pitch was because he was tired, you can see that he’s sweating and he’s also singing the same key as adele. i also think that the riff he did before the second verse was to practice for his riff at the end.

Singing that song in the same key is hard. I sang it while I was with my friends (who always hand me the mic everytime we do karaoke) and I was straining so bad I had to stop because my throat was hurting. I tried to sing it the same as Bruno did here, on some notes I have to go on falsetto. The way he recovered after a shakey start makes me want to know how he handled it. My only advice to people is, don't try to copy Bruno Mars. His techniques are so wild most people would possibly crack in those notes. Love the honest reaction though, keep it comin! I'm enjoying this channel since I'm learning more on singing. c:
