i feel like Rm is one if not the best leader in Kpop. He has to be one of the main reason BTS has lasted so long and is so successful. Its a shame he does not get appreciated as much as he deserves.

you're right, Namjoon has a very high IQ. His intelligence also extends to emotional maturity, which I think is why he was chosen as the leader in the first place (other than his natural affinity for leading). Because of this, however, I think people often forget that when they debuted he was just an eighteen-year-old kid who had no idea what he was doing. In the beginning, they were friends sure, but the members bickered all the time. Now, you can see how much they've grown closer and work like a well-oiled machine. We owe a lot of that to Namjoon as a leader, he's grown so much in his role.

RM is a natural born leader.

One of the most impressive things about Namjoon is that he can always command the respect of the other members when necessary, but still fool around with them and be just as goofy as the rest of them at other times. It's also impressive because in Korea, age is a truly important factor and all respect goes to the oldest. Namjoon is the 4th oldest, but those older than him still respect everything he says and does and defer to him. They have really learned how to make their group work! Namjoon has a lot on his shoulders, not only is he responsible for harmony among they members and for acting as a liaison between the members and the company, he also does a good chunk of the writing (mostly with Suga) as well as handling most of the foreign press and interviews (being the only one fluent in English) as well as teaching all the other members some lines in english so they can contribute to interviews as well.

Considering that the group was form because of him,he never takes advantage. He has an i.q of 148. He also writes the lyrics, music,produces and of course raps. Yet he represents the group when he goes to big meetings with the members concerns. He's a big influence on other leaders from different groups. If you heard TXT latest comeback Rm wrote or finished writing a few of the songs. In the scene with V, he cried so he knew V was upset that he hurt Jin so he went and console him before they went on stage. He's a great leader plus a big brother

Apparently when there are disagreements between members, the whole group is involved in solving the disagreement, not just the members who are in conflict. I completely believed RM's IQ when he explained he was given 2 scores. 140, 148. When I was tested I was given two scores, too. A range.

KIM NAMJOON "RM" is absolutely amazing, the man is a genius . He is a great leader and hes the glue of the group. He knows exactly what he's doing and it shows! He's not only their leadrer, but each ones confidant and best friend.

All of the members have writing credits on their songs, all pitch in, but RM does do lot of writing and since he is the leader he kind of does the instructing for social things. Each one works hard with their roles I wouldn’t say one works harder than another. Suga spends nights producing their songs, JHope with the choreo as well as the others putting in their share

RM has to be one of the best leaders in KPop. When asked about leadership on I-Land BTS said that the leader has more work and doesn't really get much in return. RM will translate for them and has no problem speaking for the group at international interviews, he writes and produces a lot of their songs, he'll step in when he needs to, and so much more. He does such a great job weather he realizes it or not. These are just a few examples there's so much more to be said.

i think that Namjoons emotional intelligence is a big part why he was chosen for this role. This man not only has high IQ, but also he is selfless, kind hearted and always straight forward, to the point. He's honest, and when it comes to arguments, he keeps his posture, but also involves himself in, saying he is not important as an individual, its not about him, its about them as whole. I really appreciate him for being this mature. He is not the oldest, Jin is, and considering the fact that being the oldest in a group is very important, all the older boys had to learn to accept that. In the beginning I believe they had a few arguments about Joon "standing" above Jin, Hobi and Yoongi. (Which is not true but the older members felt that way, because "Why is he telling us what to do when he is younger than us?" Kind of feeling) They had to learn to work with him. I Hope everyone appreciates Namjoon as much as I do. I've always been a leader myself, chosen by others, so I feel like I could learn a lot from him.

Hi Justin. In FESTA 2018 (BTS Anniversary), the members really commended RM for being a good leader to them. RM on the other hand, commended JHope for being the hidden leader (dance leader) and said that without him, he will not be able to do his role. RM further said that he is the leader but it is JHope who is the glue that binds all the members... RM and JHope are truly admirable leaders.

Despite the fact that they struggled so much, almost gave up and was ridiculed at but Namjoon kept his team as one and a strong one, that today they're the biggest band on Earth. Indeed, *KIM NAMJOON is the best leader*

Yes, everything you said was right, they are where they are because they trust RM completely. Some might say that RM is the most hard working, but truthful and accurately ALL members are the most hard working. Yes, RM writes and produces, but Suga writes, maybe more than RM last I checked, and produces also. You can even through J-Hope in there also with writing and producing music also. But truthfully they now all write lyrics, but Jungkook is another one that has written a lot also, just not as much as Suga, RM, or J-Hope. They all have their roles in the group and respect each other in those roles, which is awesome. That’s why they are the biggest and in my opinion the best that I have seen in a looooonnnggggg time!

RM does write majority of the lyrics for bts, and both his group and even Jackson from GOT7 have all stated time and again that for Namjoon everyday is work and they are amazed and in awe of all he does. They praise him a lot for being leader and despite his clumsy nature, they respect him and trust him entierly. Definitely brothers, these 7.

You could not have a better leader than RM and they know it. Every member has a role in the group and they are each absolutely responsible in that role. For example, JHope acts as the team dance captain and they rely on him for the performance. But It’ s almost hard for me to explain all of the skills RM has because he has so many. The boys trust him and that is the most important. Even though he breaks and loses everything he knows this about himself and they can all joke about it. I have so much respect for him especially because it wasn’t easy in the beginning. That respect was earned!!!

namjoon is a great leader, no one can deny that but it's also amazing how much respect the rest of the members have for him. this is even weirder considering the fact that he isn't the oldest of the group and there are 2 much older members (seokjin and yoongi) above him that could choose to act superior whenever due to their age, but they respect him so much and they give namjoon his authority as the leader/spokesperson of the group. it's definitely not easy to do such a thing, especially in a country like south korea when older people have immediate sense of superiority over people younger than them (so much so that asking for the year they were born is common when starting conversations - to establish who's the older person) but that just makes me admire the entire group more than ever. the other members also often say that namjoon's really good at extraordinary things that the common person wouldn't be able to do but fails at the most basic of things like cooking etc and they often times help him out with these things and they take care of him. even then, the respect they hold for him as the leader of the group still stays and i find that absolutely heartwarming. that just goes to show that they're genuine brothers, before they are colleagues.

All the members write parts of the music and all of them are incredibly hard workers and are passionate about what they do which is why there are sometimes arguments as they want yo always do their best. RM is amazing at leading resolving conflicts and encouraging tge members. You are right they each have roles that they will in the group and the most important thing is that they do listen to each other and talk through the problems and communicate. They have been together a long time so there are less arguments now as in the past as thry understand each other better now and truly support and care for each other. RM is an amazing leader.

It's not that RM writes all of BTS music.. they all participate in writing.. but Namjoon have the most credits (175) and is known as a genius lyricist followed by Suga and JHope of Rapline..! The vocal line also participate in song writing and JK and V have the most credits among the vocal lines followed by Jin and Jimin!

Another thing that’s really interesting is how they handle conflicts within the team. When they started their CEO said that they need to come together as a group when resolving conflict even if it’s only between two members. I think that’s what makes them so strong too because all of them are aware about what’s happening within the group and what needs to be done to compromise and solve the issue.
