They had a short commentary section in between the two songs, which is why the transition was not as smooth as you were hoping. During this time, they did group introduction, interacted with the crowd a bit, and a cake was brought up onto the stage as the crowd sang Happy Birthday to Jin, which is also what the heart placards were for, as well as the moon coverings over some of the ARMY Bombs (lightsticks). The night BTS performed at JingleBall, it was Jin's birthday (Dec 4) and the night after their last LA concert.

Just a trivia: Jin is going to be an uncle soon and they nicknamed his future niece "Butter Kim" as this was during the Butter era that Jin's brother was asking Jin for a name for the baby and Jin said to name her "Butter." So cute and excited to see her future niece. Recently he went to his uncle's strawberry farm (where Jin used to work when he was young during summer) and delivered fresh strawberries to his pregnant sister in-law and brother, his friend Chef Bok and to the members as well.

I think this was one of their best live performances of the song am i wrong? i mean they sound good at the pre recorded ones but pre recorded content always goes through a bit of tuning. This was completely live (if my ears arent deceiving me) They did really good
