No matter how good Dimash is, there's eventually gonna be haters. Jealousy is a monster!! What do you do when you can't do something someone else can, you hate!! I no doubt as well believe he is 100% legit!!

I think that, given Vitas is such a big star in China and the song is so well known, Dimash may have felt he needed to take the song to another level. I have been a fan of Vitas for about 12 years but I now prefer Dimash's version of Opera 2.

Of course Dimash is Legit. Singer is a contest among professionals. So, naturally it is Dimash that is singing. Some people just cannot accept what they are hearing. Besides, I have heard Dimash sing a Capella and at the airports he sometimes sings to and with his fans. He started studying music at a young age and did not stop. He even had opera training (of course, it shows) and could have been a part of the Opera if he so chose. Dimash preferred this route. He wants to get to the younger generation interested is a better class of music and is going sort of pop/opera/ and as he grows, a little bit of everything. He continues to study music and will not stop. Music is his life. Since Singer, he has gained world popularity he is getting the negative comments from the poor souls that do not understand good music. The rest of us are in heaven, enjoying every bit of Dimash's music. Dimash came in first place on this song and SOS. Eventually he won 2nd place in the contest. I think it was only because he was the wild card.

Good job, yes.development from a young age shows he is 100% legit. There are hundreds of videos of him singing through his teenage years, all kinds of songs. And performing on the piano at age 5. Vitas was the original singer of "Opera 2", and modulated once. Dimash effortlessly took it higher modulating an amazing three times. Currently his range (so far from a multitude of his live international performances) is 6 Octaves from F2 to a sustained D8.

Any man who can sign in a 6 octave 1 note ( from the bottom of the baritone register , to high saprano, to whistle register ) range is legit in anyone's book ! And only two other singers come close , Mariah Carey and Axel Rose . Dimash also loves singing live. In fact he much prefers to. The few times he doesn't is when in a studio. I was fortunate to have been at his last concert. This guy is so down to earth. He will meet his fans and even break out into songs with them. Ask the London Concert goers their impression of Dimash. Blown away by the man's singing. An absolutely amazing talent. No if's , and's , or but's about it !

well it is a contest and he must perform to get votes. the audience loved it and they are the ones voting... Dimash did not win the overall contest, he came in 2nd place but he did win highest points for SOS and Opera 2. The Show Must Go On is episode 3. Totally different genre and another amazing performance. Would love to get you reaction to all of Dimash's performances on The Singer. I believe Dimash is 100% legit because I have seen performance of every kind, including A Capella.

He is legit - however i know that some productions will demand he lip sincs depending on the type and size of production eg lots of moving sets going on. Also tv production like to autotune for 'polish' but Dimash sings live and sounds just as brilliantxxxx love it - he will keep developing his genre :)

I watched this show and I'm in the position to tell you that Dimash (astonishingly) did not win this contest, but got second place. He did win, however, this episode, as well as number one (when he performed S.O.S) and the sixth one (Adagio). There were about 14 o 15 episodes of this contest, that were attended mostly for well recognized chinese artists. Dimash was a foreigner and had not a previous fan base, and after this show ended, he became a star in China.

There are already haters of Dimash saying that he uses auto-tune a lot. It's actually the production team of "The Singer" in post production! I'n some of his performances you could hear the auto-tune but for the most part though it's 100% live. People just can't explain his voice so... they say there's NO WAY!!! that it can be real. I have to admit that I'm jealous of people who can sing but Dimash sings at a whole different level, as someone who can't sing the happy birthday song without being sick to my stomach and becoming very embarrassed, I've always wished I could find someone who could teach me to sing along to songs the radio at a level that doesn't embarrass myself while driving but at 60 years old I guess I'm just out of luck and I'm just going to have to give up and listen to others while they sing!

He totally knows it gets gimmicky at that point. Look at that cocky grin on his face, he's just having fun with it at that point. That fun grin is half the reason this is one of my favorites of his.

100% legit! Vistas became, uh, disturbed with this and requested that Dimash not ever sing it again. What a ¥?~§[^€#*%. Of course, being the type of person Dimash is, he agreed. Then, duh, Vistas recorded Opera2 again, with instrumentals and extra singers. My opinion? It sounded like crap...and I’m being kind. Be my guest and pull it up on You Tube to listen to him.
