ive seen comments saying about all the racism she received from Little Mermaid and this song is to show her beauty and power as a black woman. So, i guess that's not just about pop but her experiences from that whole situation.

You can find the video here on KZfaq. She told it in a "Live" that she and her sister did the eve of this videos release.

Halle has always had very creative melodies, since she was a child. She was very experimental in her covers as a kid, but she changed that when she got older. She did away with the accent cursive singing and cleaned it up real good. You still hear bits and pieces of it now and again, but still in my opinion, Halle brought the ethereal feel to CxH.

Exactly , Chloe sings beautifully too but her style seems a bit more generic in my opinion, while Halle really has a unique touch.

Halle and her sister are very accomplished composers, producers, and writers. They learned from KZfaq videos believe it or not. I've heard covers of this already and most people sound "screechy" when they hit that last "angel" in the chorus.

Her voice is soo connected.. she blends and transverse through her registers seamlessly.. no breaks.. I can barely tell if she’s in chest, mix or head voice Incredible homogeneity across her range.

Listening to her singing this song makes me want to cry! I love that she chose to stand up for herself in a creative way. That softly demands for people to listen. Everything about the way this song was composed was beautiful! I am not familiar with a lot of her music. That being said, I was Mesmerized by the use of sound and the overall structure or Composition of the song. and I am so proud of her! ❤

She sound beautiful, but her style isn’t similar to ariel while people spent their time trying to disregard/ disrespect her talent by saying she got the role just because she’s black; failed to realize she got it for her acting but most importantly her Voice , Halle has always had an naturally higher tone to her voice and hearing her sing one time and you can’t understand why she was chosen
