Very happy that you’ve finally reacted and are enjoying KZ’s performances! 😍 She was briefly my voice student back in the day (during summer breaks from music school), and I can tell you that she’s a very special and gifted artist even during her younger days. She started like the rest of us Filipinos (LOL) singing heavy high ballads (Whitney etc) - I remembered puberty stated to hit her that time and her voice was starting to turn Alto and belting was taking toll, it was frustrating but a fact of life that one had to come to terms with and navigate. KZ being KZ is a force of nature herself and incredibly gifted/talented. She came about and embraced her vocals - and what beautiful and unique vocal timbre and abilities. Plus she can rap! Gaahhh! 😄😄😄 I’d recommend for you to watch all her performances in this Chinese vocal competition (the Singer) - they are all fantastic and moving performances! She also had a live radio performance in London at BCC radio, where she performed her original song “Nag-iisa na naman” which literally means “alone again”. And ohhh.. don’t forget to watch her audition in X FACTOR Philippines - it was astounding and she took that show by storm. Just found your channel because it was a KZfaq recommendation as I am a KZ fan so naturally I watched all of your reactions of KZ. I'm actually 62 and discovered KZ just a couple of years ago when, like you, I heard her version of Rolling in the Deep. That same day, I played that video over and over and could never get enough of KZ. Her talent is truly God given and no matter what song she sings, she always makes it her own even if she just hears the song for the first time.
