I feel like her choice to use the f-bomb could be appropriate to the emotional weight of the song. She may not use the word in other songs, unless the story-telling necessitates it.

Plus she’s a teenager, a lot of teenagers swear and it’s about a breakup I don’t really think a breakup song is aimed towards little kids, I think it’s aimed at teenagers or adults or anyone

I agree but also don't think swearing in song lyrics are a problem. It brings emphasis to anything you're trying to say, and honestly I don't even think it's worth complaining about. People who complain about it seem to be very conservative and close-minded. (To the video reviewer, not the commenter)

You're one of my favorite vocal coaches. Other channels can get too technical, but you're not afraid to dive into the emotional side. Like talking about how the artists uses their voice to translate a message.

Always love your reactions! This is no exception. The musicality of this song is so amazing paired with the deep textures of her voice. I somewhat agree about her using the F word in the lyrics.. at the same time, that is so representative of this generation right now. It's so fitting to the current climate of popular songs. But, Olivia's pen game is gorgeous 💕

Don't know about the swearing, it doesn't add anything to the song, to most songs to be honest. Teenagers would think it's cool, i kinda find that to be vulgar and in this case doesn't really fit into the song.

That doesn't make any sense. If she's swearing, it basically means that's how strongly she feels about it. Just to let you know, cursing is a basic part of everyday language. People curse. Kids curse. It's just the way it is. There's nothing scandalous or "cool" about it because just about everyone does it. So why make a big thing out of it?
