A lot of people who are not regular listeners to Kpop don't know that Psy is a legend in Kpop. Gangnam style is the only song that broke out into American radio buts it's definitely not his only song, he's been around since 1999, after Gangnam style he started his own record label PNation and was busy making music for other people

No, Psy has been active even after Gangam style and had hits after that too (daddy, no face, hangover ft snoop dogg). But he took a break after 2017, so this is his 1st piece of work after 5 years. He didn't really go MIA like many think. In the mean time he began his own record label Pnation.

Suga confirmed in a V Live that he didn't sing and only lip-synced in the MV (the part where he holds PSY).

Suga said he thought he was only producing and not rapping on the song or even appearing in the mv . Psy wanted to meet Suga, which suga normally doesn't do when producing with others he said he usually does it by email, so I guess after meeting psy it lead to this fun mv. They are now great friends. It was really nice to see Suga having fun.

The voice that he is using is his signature style. The nasally sound is meant for his comedic persona as Psy.

Psy didn't really take a break though, yes he wasn't releasing music for 5 years but he was building his music company during that time. Psy has done so much for the music industry I'm very grateful for him. Also we should remember Psy's music career did not start with Gangnam Style its just how most of us found out about him.

Suga wrote this song & thought it would be perfect for Psy and wanted to produce it. But just like when Suga agreed to join BTS 12 years ago, he wasn't planning on dancing but got sucked into it. :-)

Finally I wanted to say I've been waiting for Psys comeback for ages and if it wasn't for him ba k in 2012 I would've not gotten into kpop. Secondly I love how he worked along with yoongi and got him not only produce but also to be in the MV but to also dance aswell. Yoongi id my all time fav rapper in the entire music industry and someone I can truly relate too. Thirdly I am in love with the cowboy concept and vibe of the MV and I have always loved the wild west vibe. The whole choreo is just like Psy (if you seen his earlier qork you will k ow what I mean) the beat is upbeat and just makes me want to get up and dance along and another thing "that that" chorus is just so catchy as it has been stuck In my head since I first heard it in the teasers. Also I was just smiling and laughing thruout the entire MV. Also it might just be me but Yoongi kinda looked like Tae and jin in this MV too. Also yoongi mentioned in a vlive he did that the car in this mv was the same model as the car in Daewitchita MV.

Suga was only lip syncing that part where Psy is laying on his lap. Suga has a low register when he sings. Shadow proves that since he does sing-raps in the chorus. Yet when you watch the BTS episode making of this video, you can see how much fun they all are having while filming the MV. :)

Psy has released other songs after Gangnam but we live in the West and I didn’t know till I started paying attention to KPop. He owns PNation his own label with a stable of artists. I think maybe you should listen to another track from Psy where he is singing.

This song is not for only listening. If you go to a concert, you will know the real meaning of Psy's songs. He is making songs to play together.

The second "can you feel it" was also psy not yoongi he was just lipsynching it

They had such fun making this. Two consummate professionals working together to produce this totally addictive song. Yoongi sent PSY the music and PSY was keen to do it but he sneakily managed to get Yoongi to perform in the song and then the mv. Every time I see SUGA jump in my heart rate goes up. Actually Psy studied in Berkley College of music...He is very vocaly trained and he did this nasal sound on purpose because it's suppose to be a kind of comic song, as he discuss it with Suga (you can see it in the behind documentary). You can check some of his other songs to find out he doesn't need any advice like that ;-)
