I am the honest vocal coach! I have been teaching for 15 years and been singing since I was 16. I teach from my own studio and also teach and mentor via email, and online via Live & Skype. I specialise in teaching children, and teenagers pop and musical theatre but I am trained in all genres of music. I have studied every voice technique there is, including Speech Level Singing, Estill, Bel Canto, Robert Lunte, London College of Music, ABRSM, Ria Keen, Kim Chandler, Stevie Van Lange and many more. I have been around!
In 2008 I wrote the Vocaltutor Guide, 21 set lessons for singing teachers to get started, learning to teach, and produced 3 vocal exercise CD/Downloads.

I know you know whitney, mariah and celine dion. This generation we got Morissette Amon. Patricia van's rise up was inspired by Morissette. Please check out Morissette Amon's Rise up, Never Enouh and Asia Song Festival. Most youtube vocal coach reactors tagged her as Top Notch in this generation and their favorite. The judges are: Waylon - has a great voice. Did a Eurovision song in 2017 with the amazing Ilse de Lange under the name "The Common Linnets" with the song "Calm after the storm" Lil Kleine - A Dutch rapper and let's just say I am too old to appreciate his music (and I have nothing against good rap music) Ali B - has been making and mainly producing Dutch hiphop music succesfully for years Anouk - Last but definately not least, my favorite female Dutch rock singer. She has been around for many years, great voice great songs. (Check out the following YT video fCSQdHdUR9M (I was there loved that concert)

Waylon went in his own in 2017 to the eurovision songcontest. - outlaw in ‘em. In 2014 he did this together with Ilse de lange. As the common linnets with calm after the storm. The became 2nd ( lost from the lady with the beard 😂) Anouk was singing rocksongs. She became famous with the song nobodys wife. Now she is singing dutch songs. Ali B is a dutch rapper and little kleine is a dutch rapper too

The left judge is Lil Kleine he is a Dutch rapper. Next to him (the lady who turned last) is Anoek. She participated in Eurovision with birds one time. And then next to her is Ali B a rapper as well. And the last one is Waylon. He participated in Eurovision last year😊

The young guy is Lil Kleine who is somehow got known due a random song about alcohol and drugs. I have no idea why he is a coach when he can't even perform without autotune. He defo got offered a seat due the young girls that would probably watch the show.--- Ali B (The male with curly hair) is a Dutch/Moroccan rapper and one of the mot known rappers in The Netherlands.he has a top 5 album and 7 top 10 singles on the Dutch charts. -- Anouk is arguable the most succesful Dutch female artist within the country itself. she has released 12 albums/EPs with 11 of them topping the charts. 15 from her many singles charted inside the top 10 of the Dutch charts. She represented The Netherlands in the Eurovision Song Contest 2013 where she ended 9th. -- The last coach is Waylon (Willem Bijkerk) who is arguable one of the best male vocalists that we have. He became famous after ending 2nd in the first season of Hollands Got Talent. He released 5 albums that charted inside the top 10 and 2 #1s and he his highest charting single is Wicked Ways which peaked at 8. He also represented The Netherlands in Eurovision Song COntest 2014 together with country singer Isle DeLange. They ended 2nd which our best result in the contest since the last Dutch victory in 1975. He also represented The Netherlands in Eurovision 2018 where he ended 18th.

More relevant facts are..Anouk had two years of vocal lessons at music conservatory and also taught a while at a music conservatory..Waylon had singing lessons from a professional vocal teacher..the rappers...nothing like that. The 18 year old hasn't even been on the planet long enough to have an extensive knowledge of music. Especially since besides school and rapping he also acts.

@@reddragonready He's 24 as far as I know and although he doesn't have the same vocal training (or ability) as Anouk or Waylon, he does have a deep musical knowledge and skill. On top, a lot of the coaching in the voice is about confidence, stage presence, and so on (as they usually have a vocal coach with them either way). Hate him or love him, he is good at what he does. As a producer of the show, I wouldn't have put two dutch-rapping guys in at the same time, that's a bit silly. I agree on that

The judges are Anouk (singer), Waylon (singer), Ali B. (rapper) and Lil Kleine (rapper). Both Anouk and Waylon represented The Netherlands at the Eurovision Song Contest. Please check out Anouks live performance of her song 'Lost' at Gelredome 2008. She's a great singer.

@Ad Lockhorst first problem i do not fully agree with, ali B might not be known as a singer but as a rapper, however he is very exprerienced as a coach on this show and can help people become better, he is actually the most experienced judge out of the four. only lil kleine has no experience being a coach

The first judge is Anouk. You can see her at 0:54. She is a 43 year old singer, with a beautiful voice. She joined the eurovision song constest in 2013, with her song birds (kzfaq.info/get/bejne/pJuZlN2J27PbZaM.html). There she ended on the ninth place. The second judge is Waylon. You can see him at 4:05. He is a 38 year old Dutch singer. He started as a country / rock singer, but now he is singing al kind of songs. He joined also the eurovison song contest, only not once, but twice. The first time was in 2014, with another singer named : Ilse Delange. The song was called Calm after the storm (kzfaq.info/get/bejne/eKmJhqyEyd2qcY0.html). They became second. The second time he joined the song contest was this year. there are four jugdes Waylon, he is a singer and participated in the songfestival 2018 Anouk, she is a singer and also participated in the songfestival in like 2009 or something Ali-B, he is a rapper and was populair in the early 2000 Lil Kleine, is also a rapper and a singer together, he is VERY populair by the youth at this moment

I'm not making fun of you, but it's always amusing to me how non-Dutch are struggling in pronouncing real Dutch names. It was the reason to define my user name, which is in fact my real name translated to English.

I'm was born in a all Dutch town in Iowa. And lived there until I was 9. My grandparents lived there all their lives. All Dutch names in the phone book. Biggest letter is the v. Van vander, ver, Voss, and I probably could do more of them. Verschoor is my mother's maiden name. People trying to pronounce that one. OOF! Proud of my Dutch heritage. Orange city Iowa Dutch town. We do tulip festival every year in may.

Waylon joined the eurovision songfestival twice actually, he is the rock guy! Anouk is the strict judge but a good singer. Ali B is the one with the curls he is a rapper and producer. The youngest guy is also a rapper.

Lovely comments always, you always seem so honest (of course in the name) and sincere. Lovely! And the name Haastrecht, I get tears in my eyes from laughter as you pronounce it, haha. It is very difficult I guess, you sound like the prejudice of someone from Britain talking German, LOL. To pronounce it correctly, double 'aa' is like in aha, the e is like nothing I know of in english, sorry. And 'ch' together sounds like clearing your throat. Have fun with that ;)

This was a bit of a litmus test for you as a vocal coach, wasn't it? Hard to be critical. You could have nit picked (not sure about what), but you didn't. Quite an amazing voice.

She does have a nice voice and your reaction was as usual excellent, but there you are in Great Britain and we can't ever get a reaction to Sarah Ikumu? Come on, pick one of her songs and show the world the next great thing, anything from Britain's Got Talent or Showtime at the Apollo will work, shoot her version of Rise Up is incredible, but her audition for BGT was the best

Whoa, you never heard of Sarah Ikumu? She introduced herself to the world as a 15 year old last year with her rendition of I Am Telling You, should note that they let her sing the whole song and that doesn't happen ever. After her version of Purple Rain in round two Simon and the rest of the panel was in agreement, she is the best singer they have ever had on the show. Her version was like nothing I have ever heard of and there were some things in there that I don't think many singers can do. Her final was Rise Up which was also incredible. She followed up her BGT with a trip to New York and Showtime at the Apollo where her version of Glory had a standing ovation literally 10 seconds in, just an incredibly powerful job by her. She had one more song on at the Apollo and her version of Here and Now was something else. Just heard the Original of Stone cold by Demi Lovato. Also beautifull but different. Patricia Made it her own. Different style but she nailed it in her OWN way with beautifull voicecontrol again in my opinion. I am curious what’s your opinion. Keep up the good work dear Georgina. I do like your judgements.

Acts like these make me so angry, it is just ridiculous how many unknown talents are running around in the Netherlands. Its a waste too see them not at a world tour just sit out and hide under a rock or something. Such a shame...
