And it's all that studio quality voice is done live... ! Few artists sound like their studio recording when performing on stage. This is....wow!!!! Diva....!!!!! She needs to get signed by record company and had composers write songs which do justice to her amazing voice.

She sounds so much like Whitney in the upper range, it brought tears to my eyes. I have heard Charice, Jud, Brandy, Christina, and many other artists sing Whitney and this is by far the best rendition recorded. This woman's power and range is amazing. Bravo! Encore!

Besides her incredible voice, I too like watching her perform. How she performs is never boring, even after seeing it multiple times. On the video with her before this one you thanked subscribers for suggestions so you can listen to singers you never heard before. But it works both ways. Viewers like me also get to see other singers outside our limited box. So: thank you for reacting and analyzing!

Its the tone. GG and Whitney both carry the same type of tone this is why they sound so much alike 99.99%. I tested it out on a few listeners and ten out of ten people thought it was the original. Lol. This is how great this Lady is. Can't wait for GG to take her show on the road to America and beyond. Yeah, she does belong up there with the elites and she's on her way in doing that. @Sarah Stewart Glennis and whitney don't have the same tone, Glennis has stuied whitneys vocals, technique, her phrasing of words, and whitneys mannerisms, Glennis also knows how to talk in whitneys voice. the positive is Glennis is a good singer, the negative is she knows how to mimic so many singers voices that its hard for me to find her voice inside of it all. Glennis has a single out called (walk on water) im thinking that may be here real vocals and I like it.

@Sarah Stewart I only heard her cover (nothing compares to you) and the reason I liked it so much was because I didn't hear the whitney tone in that song and she really made that song her own. sometime today or tonight im going to listen to all the songs she covered on (AGT).

She Singa a lot and has a soft voice... And when you list with your eyes closed it comes to the thoughts that Whitney Houston. Has returned to the delight of her fans.

She has amazing tone and vocal control like Whitney, yes, but I'm careful not to compare GG to Whitney. That can be an enormous amount of pressure for her not to mention the comparisons can pigeon-hole her into a corner that can stall her career. I love it when she gives us Whitney, but I want some pure Glennis. She definitely belongs in the same category as Whitney, Celine and Mariah.

@@lindaminor2872 its to late Glennis is already pigeon-holed, I hear Glennis may be doing an act in vegas and she is suppose to be doing none other then whitney songs. I believe she is in her early 40s and I hate to say this but I feel like shes chasing whitneys dream instead of her own. I wish her luck but I don't believe its going to work out well.

I became a Glennis fan within minutes because of this song. I've been seeing a few of these Vocal Coach reactions, but no one seems to be catching the sudden loss of control at the very end on the "will you stay." She had just come off the powerhouse notes and lost it. She definitely regained it by the "or will you". What could she have done to prevent that? This woman is an AMAZING singer!!

@@fredroggeveen2999 I heard she was overwhelmed by emotions at the end because a long term relationship of her was over. Another was that Whitney died 5 years ago, at that time. I'm not sure which one it was. However, she sang this song perfectly. She deserves a great career .🌹🌹🌹🍀🍀🍀💋💋💋

@christianmarie87 She got so emtional at the end. You can hear it in her voice. She teared up as wel, you can see the tears in her eyes. She never lost control, as you put it. She was overcome by emotions. That's why her voice broke. You can't do anything about your emotions. It's not a switch you turn off and on. For her ending the song as she did, does make her the amazing singer she is.

GG sang this song how it was ment to be, i would not be suprised that the writers of this song would easely picked out GG as they would have picked out Whitney Houston back then. Because these two singers understood how this song should be sang. And i always have troubles hearing this, when others try to cover this song. The most talented female singers just don't come even close to the talent that this young woman has. Beyonce, Grande or Christina, they all can sing very well, no doubt about it, but compare them with Glennis, and you hear direct the differences. So this woman has ruined it for me completely to listen to other performers. It just aint that good.
